Hello, my friends at Cosmic Updates. It is Deco Back again this time for the week of November 12th through the 18th. I’m super excited to do this reading for you today just to see what we need to know for the week. I feel like we’ve had a lot of readings about relationships recently and just in general, I feel like there’s a lot of people who allow others to kind of walk all over them, and I think that’s been kind of a theme for the past few months or the past few weeks especially. So I want to see what else do we need to know about moving forward? We’ll stick with our Celtic cross spreads just because I think they give us a nice snapshot of what we need to know. So let me find some space and pull these cards for you. All right.

Okay. Interesting, interesting, very interesting. Okay, so right away, my friends, let’s start with the environment because this is fascinating. Your environment is The Devil, okay? And The Devil, when it’s in your environment, means that there is something that’s really holding you back from being able to live the life that you want for yourself. There’s something that is a habit or a cycle or something that’s hanging on, could be an addiction or an obsession or something that you’re very focused on that is keeping you from being able to fully show up in your life and be present for the people that are most important. For the things that are most important, there’s something that’s getting in your way, and what I’m seeing with your conscious is that there’s something going on in your head. You know that there’s chaos around you, and I think part of it might be what you’re holding onto this thing that is like, I don’t want to say it defines you, but it’s definitely a part of you and something that you’re not cognizantly thinking about. It’s just something that’s present. And, I think you’re feeling the repercussions right now with this Tower in the place of the conscious. 

Okay, now what I’m seeing also, let’s move back a little bit and go to the past, present, future part of this spread. The Magician is here in the challenge position and The Magician being in the challenge is suggesting that you’re struggling to plan for a new beginning. The Magician is generally someone who knows what their resources are and is able to plan for long-term goals. And I think when it’s in the challenge position, it means that we’re struggling a little bit with that. There’s either resources that we’re forgetting or we just don’t have a good plan in place. We feel like we have to go back to the drawing board because we didn’t have every detail planned out, and I think it’s important that we start addressing that. I do think that you were in kind of a difficult spot. 

In fact, there are two cards here that are suggesting that The Wheel of Fortune is in reverse in the past, and then the Eight of Swords is in reverse in the heart of the matter. So the Wheel of Fortune being in reverse, meaning that we’ve been struggling to see the positives in things, really focusing on the downswing of that Wheel of Fortune and feeling those negative emotions that we’ve had maybe for a while. I think that that’s something that’s been clinging, but I do think that it’s something you’ve been processing. 

The Ace of Swords in reverse. Being the heart of the matter means that you’re working on overcoming those challenges and overcoming that negative headspace that maybe has kept you from being able to really plan for the future.

Now with this Tower in your conscious, maybe that’s part of it, that you feel like you’re right in the midst of this crumbling foundation of what you thought you had built to be a really incredible life, only to realize that there was something there that wasn’t working with you, that was keeping you from being able to fully plan for what came next. Maybe because you just feel like things are crumbling, and so you don’t know what you even have available. You’re not sure of your resources right now, but I want us to talk about this too. 

The unconscious is your Page of Cups in reverse, and the Page of Cups in reverse means that deep down, you know that there’s some tie or something that you’re holding onto that is just not healthy for you. It could be a past relationship, whether that’s romantic or platonic. It could be a familial relationship. Maybe you’re holding on to some sort of validation that you’ve always wanted from someone, and when you’re not getting it, it’s really weighing on you, even though it’s something that if you process it, you could probably release it, right? But I think there is something that you’re holding onto that needs to be released, and I think the more you work on your mental health, the more you’ll be able to pinpoint that. Because remember, the Tower is about transformation. Yes, it’s uncomfortable. Yes, it’s starting over again, but it’s also an opportunity to start fresh in a new version of who we’ve always been meant to be because we’ve learned the lessons and now we can start moving forward. 

Now, I do think with this Hanged Man in reverse that there’s a little bit of a challenge here because you’re just out of whack. Again, you’re starting fresh, you’re trying to plan for the future, you’re trying to do things for yourself that are going to benefit you in the long run. (Sorry, the cats have spotted a bird.) But anyway, what I’m seeing here, my friends is like, yeah, you’re out of your comfort zone. But I think in the long run, I do think that this is going to help you take control of your life again.

The Emperor is in the outcome here, and I think that’s you claiming this energy, this fiery passionate energy where you are investing in the things that you want to invest in and being the true leader of your life and knowing that you are the person who has earned all of those things. Now, I do think that people are going to cheer you on as you go. 

The Six of Wands is in the querent’s position, and the Six of Wands is all about accolades and acclimation and feeling like people are noticing you being put on a pedestal. And I think that the more you push forward and the more that you work on your healing, the more inspirational you’ll be to the people around you, the more positive feedback. But there’s still this hurdle that we need to overcome just because appearances would show that everything is good and people are cheering you on along the way doesn’t mean that there’s things that you shouldn’t be addressing still in your life. Just because people are saying, Hey, you’re doing a good job, doesn’t mean that you should ignore these things that need to be eliminated for you to really show up. And I think part of eliminating those things is this hope that you’re going to have this great balance in your life, in your emotions, and your emotional state would improve by getting rid of those things and addressing those things in your life. 

So yeah, you’ve been through this big transformational time, this Tower is in your conscious, but I think that right now is about finding your footing as you start to move forward. And in finding your footing, eliminating the things that don’t belong, the things that maybe cause this Tower moment in the first place. I think you’ve got this. I really believe that you’re the leader of your own life, and as long as you step up to the plate and are willing to keep working toward the life that you want for yourself, you’ll be successful. It’s just about keeping your mind focused on those long-term goals. You’ve got this, my friend.
