Hi there, friends. I’ve got a Tarot Card Reading for you today. We are looking into how ready are you for love, how ready are you for a romantic relationship? Welcome to your, Are You Ready For Love Tarot Card Reading. So, the question today is, are you ready? Are you ready for a romantic relationship to come into your life? So, we’ll start right here at the top with our first card, which will be what it is that you want in love, what it is that you’re wanting in love right now. So, as you can see, we’ve got our Emperor card showing up in reverse, and The Emperor card in reverse can be a sign of people being tyrannical, overly controlling, rigid, sort of unwilling to grow or change. So, what you’re wanting in love is not this. You’re ready for a mature individual, not unlike The Emperor, somebody that is a good leader and is in control of their life, but you’re not interested in these shadow sides. Maybe you’ve had relationships in the past where somebody was way too controlling or they just didn’t want to grow in their life. So, your first card, what is it that you’re wanting? You’re wanting a good individual, maybe a mature person, somebody that’s grown up, found themselves and they no longer need other people to act a certain way for them to love them. This is a kind of unconditional love, a love that says you get to be who you are and I’m going to love you for that. Now, this isn’t a wishy-washy person, though. It’s going to be somebody that’s got some good ground underneath them. They know where they’re headed, but they’re not trying to tell you what to do or how to be. 

So, your second card is going to be what have you learned from love in the past? And so, your card for this one, what have you learned from the past is our lovely Knight of Pentacles, and this is such a great card in terms of what you’ve learned because it’s talking about, you’ve learned to take your time. You’ve learned not to hop in, head over heels, get completely lost in all the emotions and the lovely hormones and chemicals that can happen with love, but actually to go at your own pace, to listen to the parts of yourself that say, “You know what, I’m a little bit scared. I need to take this slow.” The Knight of Pentacles, as you can see, he’s home at the farm, whereas the other knights are out adventuring and going on crazy adventures here and there. He’s actually moving at just a gentle, easy pace, making sure that what it is that he’s planting is going to grow and come all the way to harvest. So, what you’ve learned, where you’re investing your energy, where you’re investing your attention is important and it’s worthwhile to see if it’s the real deal. Is this going to be something that’s actually going to grow, actually turn into a lovely, long-term secure relationship? And, if not, you know what? You’re moving at a good pace. You can say goodbye to somebody and you can wait for the right person to show up.

So, your third card is going to be what holds you back from love. Let’s take a look at what holds you back from love. Well, this is pretty straightforward. The Five of Swords tends to be a kind of conflict or a kind of unfair situation that has left a scar. There’s bad blood there, there’s a lot of pain and hurt. It feels like things were unfair. Like somebody maybe has taken advantage of you or disappeared really quickly. Maybe they ghosted you or they just didn’t treat you correctly, and as a result, there’s a feeling that still is alive in this. I can feel it. This sense of somebody having harmed you and that harm is still alive. It hurts. So, this is something that holds you back from love. That kind of pain has an echo. It can show up when you’re in the process of meeting somebody new or when you’re getting close to somebody. Particularly here, we’ve got this potentially tyrannical over controlling individual. I wouldn’t be surprised if these two are connected in some way, if maybe you’ve experienced a person like that or a pattern of individuals that just aren’t very deeply connected to their hearts and therefore can really hurt someone. 

So, your fourth card is going to be readiness in your heart. How ready are you in your heart? For real love for a deeper relationship?vWe’ve got our Four of Wands. This makes me want to take a deep sigh, like ah, the Four of Wands is the return home, the sense of ease, celebration, getting to sort of feel at home in yourself. So, in terms of how ready your heart is, your heart is very ready. Your heart is like, yes, please, I’m ready for this breath of fresh air. I’m ready to feel like I can settle in. In particular, there’s this sense of feeling at home with somebody, wanting to feel like you’re deeply connected with somebody and you don’t have to do a bunch of work. You don’t have to do a bunch of crazy gymnastics to be able to get along with this person. You don’t want to feel like you’re straining. You’re ready to feel like you’re at peace in yourself. You’re at peace with this person and things can move at just a gentle, yummy pace.

Your next card is how ready you are in your mind. So, let’s take a look at how ready you are in the mental realm for a deeper relationship. So, the Ten of Cups is the pinnacle of the emotional, the relational, emotional side of things. This is like, “Darn straight, I am so ready.” This can be an element of fantasizing and joyful curiosity about who it is that’s next. You can see that there’s joy between these two and then the children as well and a rainbow. So, this is a relationship card, it’s like “I’m so ready to be with somebody and to be able to enjoy my life with somebody.” There’s an element of elation or an element of just so much excitement surrounding the mental side of this. And, this is maybe also an encouragement to do some journaling and do some writing about what it is that this relationship looks like, that you’re so very ready for. 

So far, your heart is ready, your mind is really ready, and let’s take a look at how ready your spirit is. In other words, how ready is the deep essence of who you are for a romantic relationship? This is such a great card. It represents, it’s a perfect representation of the soul. The Queen of Pentacles is a deeply nourishing, balanced individual. She is connected with the earth, she’s connected with her body, she’s connected with her desires and her pleasure, and she’s also very practical. She’s careful, she knows how to be strategic, and this is a sign that there’s an element of you that is deeply balanced. Your spirit is coming to a place of being really fertile for this kind of relationship, really available for a lovely deep connection. It’s also a nod towards continuing to stay balanced. These cards are really deeply related in terms of being able, what you’ve learned, this slower movement, this pace that is your pace is connected with this kind of balance that’s here, that brings about a lot of fertility, that brings about a lot of abundance. Your spirit is ready for love, as well, which is really exciting.

So overall, it’s so important to be steering clear of people that are controlling. I would say if you come into contact with somebody and they even have one red flag that’s like, “Oh, this person is really rigid in their thinking, or, oh, that’s interesting. They’re kind of trying to push me this way or that way in terms of what I should be doing,” that’s it, call that one off. Not even worth it. The other piece is to be wary that there’s still some of this injury here, and that’s part of why it’s so wise to be taking your time and moving slow. At the end of the day, you’re lined up in such a beautiful pattern here with your readiness, the capacity to manifest somebody is going to be really strong.
