Hello, my friends at Cosmic Updates. I am back again, Deco and I’m here to do another reading for you guys and I am super excited this week in particular because we’re kind of going about things a little bit differently than we have traditionally as far as the weeks that I’m reading for you. So we’re changing things up a little bit. Instead of asking a specific question or focusing on a certain area of your life, or even just doing a general reading, we’re focusing in on something called the Deacons in astrology. So as far as astrology goes, obviously we have 12 signs, but within each of those signs are three deacons. They’re generally about 10 day periods within those zodiac signs that just help define who you are a little bit more, but also they have to do with different times of year. So there might be things that you’re struggling with in certain times of year that might have to do with those deacons.

And the cool thing about the deacons is first of all, they’re ruled by a bunch of different planets. And the second thing about the deacons is they are tied to specific tarot cards. So what we’re going to be kind of diving into with these deacons is looking at not only the positive side of the tarot card, but some of the challenges that kind of come up when we look at these different tarot cards and how we interact with them, how they might influence the circumstance that we’re in right then. And so that’s what we’re going to be focusing on right now. So right now, when this reading is being done, is the Deacon card that we’re looking at is the three of cups. Now, the three of Cups is an interesting card because first of all, let’s talk about the cups. So the cups are all about relationships, but they’re also about emotions and spirituality, connections with people.

The three of Cups is specifically about friendship and platonic relationships in your life. So when we’re looking at the three of Cups, it can suggest that things are going really well in friendships, but it also might make you feel like there might be some strife in friendships. There might be some areas of your closest platonic relationships that might not feel so comfortable. Maybe you’re feeling a little bit of animosity or you’re feeling a little bit of distance or whatever. But the three of cups, while it’s generally so good, can also be really painful. Losing friends, having struggles with friends, especially those ones that feel like you’re chosen family can have a lot of things that just aren’t super comfy. So we’re going to look at the three of cups and be thinking specifically in this reading about platonic relationships and friendships in particular, and just see what we might need to know, what kind of things we might need to tackle right now.
We’ll pull some tarot cards. We might pull some Oracle cards to, we’re just going to see what we need to know as far as the three of cups. By the way, this is the traditional Rider Weight Smith Tarot deck. I am going to be using an artist deck that I really enjoy, so the imagery will be a little bit different. But again, all of these decks that I use as far as the tarot decks are still tied to that same traditional deck. So you probably see lots of other readers using lots of different cards too. Cody wants the three of cups, but just so you know, they are all the same meanings. So let’s find out what we need to know as far as the three of cups goes.

Okay, what kind of things do we need to know about this three of cups? So interestingly enough, we have got the three of cups in reverse in this reading, which is telling me that there is some challenge, sorry, these cats are wanting your attention. Apparently these three of cups, when it’s in reverse, this is saying that there is something going on that is not feeling good. Okay? There’s some sort of strife in a relationship, something that is heavier than you want it to be, right? Specifically with friendships and people that you generally feel like have this wonderful full relationship with something’s off. And what I’m seeing here is it’s all about balance. Okay? The six of Pentacles is another card that is interesting because it’s also about relationships, but in a different way. The six of Pentacles is more about having a balanced relationship. It can have to do with family relationships, it can have to do with work relationships, but you can absolutely have people at work that you consider your closest people and people in your family that you consider like platonic soulmates, right?

Obviously. But the six of Pentacles is saying that it’s really important to you that you have a relationship that is balanced. And so this three of cups in reverse might mean that there is someone in your life that you feel like you’ve kind of shut out recently or maybe has shut you out recently. But the six of Pentacles is suggesting to me that this was maybe a more positive thing than you realized. Because after the fact, after the separation from these people, these platonic soulmates, if you will, was this realization that there is better balance in your relationships in general with a lot of different areas of your life, with your money, with your family, with your health, with all of those different areas. Maybe because you set some boundaries here that deep down don’t feel great, but in the grander scheme of things, I think were really beneficial for you.

The other card that’s in here is the Four of Swords. And the Four of Swords is really about self-care and taking care of you. So when we have difficulties with friends, sometimes we feel like we need to isolate a little bit and we feel like we need to turn inward and start processing things on our own. And I think that that’s a really wise thing to do. The four of Sword more than any card is very isolated and not necessarily in a way that is negative, more so in a way where you are putting your focus on yourself. And I think that while you’ve got these more balanced relationships in all of those areas that we’ve already talked about, it gives you that opportunity to kind of take a step back and just rest, rejuvenate, feel better in your skin, your home, in your job, in all of those areas.

And I think cutting out some toxic relationships was maybe what you needed to do to get to that phase. Now, I want to pull a couple other cards. I just want to clarify your card for the Three of Cups in reverse to see what do we need to know about this there Did something go wrong? What’s going on? So I’m pulling a card specifically to get some insight on that card, and it’s the 10 of Swords. So this is absolutely telling me that there was something that came to an end. You guys, the 10 of Swords is really decisive, and it’s a hard end. There’s no coming back from the 10 of swords. It’s often symbolized by someone with literally 10 swords in their back. There’s no coming back from that. That is done, that is over, that is in the past, and it’s upright, which is telling me that maybe this wasn’t some long drawn out ending of a friendship.

It was more like this was something that you had been slowly coming to terms with, and now it’s like you finally are able to get your wits about you and recognize that even though it’s sad that it’s gone and you’re coming to terms with the fact that that person or those people are not in your life anymore, I think that you recognize that it was for your benefit in the long run. Man, I do think that as much as it hurts to lose friendships and to lose relationships with people that you really care about, one thing that someone said to me once that really stuck with me is you have friends for a season or a reason or a lifetime, and I think that that’s really pertinent in this particular reading. Sometimes we just have people that are there at the right time in the right place, but that doesn’t mean that they’re a forever friend necessarily.
As much as it’s like in that time, that was the friend that I needed and that was the friend that I had. But now we’ve grown and changed and moved forward, and that’s kind of what I’m seeing here is there’s balance in these relationships and there’s balance moving forward, but there’s still that little bit of grieving from leaving those things in the past, right? Okay, now let me pull an Oracle card and see if there’s anything else that we need to know here about moving forward. We might pull more than one. Let’s see what we need to know.

Activated earth power places, lay lines, trust where you’re led. And this is really about using your intuition and using your better judgment to make choices that make sense for you, following the path that feels the most authentic for you, instead of maybe what some other people thought was best for you. I think that what we need to be considering here for you is that this is an opportunity for you to really pave your own path and be excited about what comes next for you. And understanding that wherever you’re feeling led is the right place for you. Let me pull one more Oracle card because I feel like there’s more to be seen here, but I really think that part of closing one chapter is the opportunity to open some new doors and see what comes next. Okay, let’s see.

This card really wanted to be seen, surrender to the sweetness, Venus energy, pleasure, joy, make love to life. So this is like an opportunity. Remember, we have that for of swords where it’s all about rest, and this is our opportunity to take hold of our life and really make sure that we are living it to the fullest and really enjoying life. Sometimes we have people that just kind of suck everything out of us. And again, not to say that these were negative relationships. I do feel like you had positive relationships here, but I do think it’s a time to just start thinking about what’s most important for you and what brings you so much more joy in life. And once you come to terms with those things and start investing your time and your energy in those things, then you’re going to feel so much more at home.

You’re going to feel so much happier, so much more fulfilled. And I think claiming that part of your life is also how you meet new friends. I truly believe that acting on the things that you love doing is a way to connect with other people that love those things too, because you’ll find them in those spaces. So being your most authentic self, embracing this chapter, knowing that you are going to be attracting exactly the friends that you need right now, I think is going to help you move past kind of some of that pain that we might have as far as losing some older friendships. Right? Alright, my friends, I am so excited for the future for you guys.
