Trust The Process | Weekly Tarot Reading | 5/8 – 5/14

Hello Tarot Family,

This is Jonathan with an electrifying Weekly Tarot Reading.

Something at a deep level is shifting in your life. These are big and important structures, like tectonic plates that are starting to change.

So the transition ahead might feel a little disorienting and out of your control. Even so, it’s for the best and is setting you up for a new kind of empowered stance in your life.

This is a great week to take – your – time, and listen closely to the whispers of guidance and your deep intuition. Let’s take a look at what’s to come and what else might help you through your powerful week ahead.

Card #1: Judgement | Clarifying Your Path

The Judgement card symbolizes awakening, renewal, and can indicate a period of self-evaluation or testing.

When Judgement arrives in a reading you should take it very seriously. This is a sacred and powerful card, and tends to indicate an important transition in your life.

Not unlike the Death card, Judgement often marks both a letting go as well as a powerful new beginning.

There are different kinds of awakening you might go through in your life. Sometimes, an awakening will reveal what is possible and expand your consciousness.

While other awakenings will reveal your blind spots or current limitations.

The Judgement card represents the kind of awakening that can humble you by showing you where you are limited.

This might look like realizing life has a particular path for you, and it may not be the one you had in mind.

When you recognize what life is asking of you, often there are things you have to let go of. Even things you may love or have grown attached to.

You can see in the card image two families with their arms reaching toward the sky. They are naked, and have all risen from the coffin beneath them.

This is a sign that “new life” returning to you. This could look like a revelation about what really interests you, or a resurgence of meaning and purpose with what’s already in your life.

The man and woman represent the duality: the conscious and unconscious, the active and passive, and the creative and receptive. While the child, born of the two, is a sign of unification.

So something you may have felt diametrically opposed to might start to make sense in some magical way. Rather than fighting with yourself, your fate, or your circumstances, you might find a sense of acceptance starting to permeate your experience.

Ultimately, the Judgement card signals a time of self-reflection. Particularly if you can look at things from an impersonal place, this is a great time to do some journaling, reflecting, and letting memories bubble to the surface.

Even if you receive a massive insight or revelation, not everything can happen at once. So giving yourself time to reflect and stew on what is changing in your life can be very helpful.

This is particularly true if we consider your next card, which might be a sign things could be on pause for a little while before they get cooking in the way you’d like them to.

Card #2: Seven Of Pentacles | When The Time Is Ripe

The Seven of Pentacles represents harvest, perseverance, and patience. If you’ve ever heard the saying “a watched pot never boils,” it’s the perfect description for the Seven of Pentacles.

Looking at the card image you can see the farmer has toiled all summer long on his crop. And even though he can see the many plump pentacles that will soon be ready to harvest, he still looks sullen and impatient.

The fruits of his labor just can’t come soon enough.

The Seven of Pentacles is ultimately a great omen. It tends to be a sign you are headed for a vibrant and healthy harvest. So if there is something you’ve been working on for what seems like forever, not to worry, it’s going to pay off.

But you’ll likely need a healthy serving of patience, because it’s simply not under your control when it will happen. Things are coming along at their own pace.

If you are feeling totally exasperated or close to throwing up your hands and walking away, really consider what you’ve put in before you do so.

Nothing is ultimately wasted in terms of wisdom and spiritual growth. Even the most epic of failures gives you some insight to add to your understanding of life and yourself.

If we add your first card to the conversation, there may be a kind of surrender being asked of you in this particular instance. If you’ve put in everything you can, worked your butt off, tried all you can do, and you’re still not seeing results, you might need to take a step back or two and reflect.

This doesn’t mean to give up or walk away. It means to create a little distance from the current situation so you can feel into it and reassess your circumstances from a different angle.

There is something special in the air regarding the roadblocks in your life right now. And often it’s the thing you think is blocking you that is ultimately what opens a more profound doorway than you were originally expecting.

You’ll want to be vigilant and not rush things. So while your next card may be a sign of an energizing influence entering your life, you’ll want to temper the urge to push things along sooner than they may be ready for.

Card #3: Knight Of Wands | Temper The Fire

The Knight of Pentacles is a sign of courage, a hot temper, and free spirited types. The Knight of Pentacles is always up for an adventure, a good fight, and anything spontaneous.

The Knight of Wands always appears with a lot of energy at his heels. So you can expect a good deal of fiery, creative, and spontaneous energy to get stirred up this week.

Sometimes the Knight of Wands represents a person tearing into your life at full speed, or someone suddenly leaving. If they are on their way in, you can expect a fun and passionate individual to show up. Just beware of their well known temper.

On the other hand, the Knight of Wands could represent a part of you that is raring to go. Particularly with any impatience that may have been building up, you might feel the need to just go for it with something.

This is fantastic energy, but only if you use it intelligently.

The Knight of Wands isn’t well known for his maturity. If you look at the image, it’s hard to tell if he really has control over his horse or not. His tunic is also reminiscent of The Fool’s kerchief.

So it’s not terribly uncommon for the Knight of Wands to bite off a battle that is out of his league, or to find himself in a very unfortunate predicament as a result of diving in first without thinking things through.

So if you’re starting to feel itchy around making something happen, find an outlet that won’t derail your entire endeavor. Go on a spontaneous trip, take a hot yoga class, or start a creative project for the fun of it.

All of that being said, sometimes the risk the Knight of Wands takes pays off big. So weigh your options, but ultimately the Knight of Wands can be deadly accurate when he truly listens to his gut.

If we consider your first two cards, the spontaneous and fiery Knight of Wands energy could be what pushes things faster than they are ready to go, creating more problems than necessary.

Alternatively, the spark of inspiration and courage could be exactly what you need to step away from the old way, and right onto the path of what you are becoming.

Your best bet is to take the time to reflect, as recommended by the Judgement card, so you can be as well informed as possible for when the time comes to charge forward or temper your fires.

Perfect Timing

The great Yogi and metaphysician Sri Aurobindo said, “all of life is a secret yoga.” What he meant by this is that all of life is conspiring to wake you up and help you grow.

So a moment of great recognition, as your first card Judgement may indicate, is the kind of sign that lets you know you are making progress.

You are being asked to reflect on your path up until now, and to get clear if you are headed in the direction your deeper, higher self is compelling you to go.

And even if things aren’t happening at the speed you want them too, as your second card implies, you might ask yourself if you can trust the process and timing.

The Seven of Pentacles is a great sign of a healthy, plump harvest to come, but only if you’re willing to surrender to what’s out of your control.

Your final card, the Knight of Wands can indicate an impulsive, even explosive energy. How you use this energy, or how you navigate others who show up with this kind of nature, will be very important.

Give yourself the time and space to do some soul searching this week, so you can work with the energy of the Knight of Wands from a place of wisdom.

This is going to be a great week, particularly if you can go with the flow a bit, and trust the bigger movements that are happening in and around you.

With love,

And in service,

Jonathan Lionheart

Thank you for the reading. I dont know how to treat this. I seem to be expecting something big that would change my life. I had been feeling that for a week too. I cannot figure out though what they are. I am as well confused as to what to give up that will not put my life upsidedown. I had been expecting something that would help me run my newfoubd business but it did not materialize. so it was a big dissappointment.

I always use translation software to read English articles.
Then, the translation result is strange Japanese, and it is often difficult to understand the meaning.
But your article is always translated as almost accurate Japanese.
It’s probably because you wrote it in polite English.
    That’s very important to me.
    thanks so much.
And today’s article was also very meaningful and important to me!
    Thank you again.

Hello Miyako. Such a pleasure to hear from you. I’m happy to hear the English translates well into Japanese. My soul is very close to the Japanese culture. Sending blessings 🙂

2 weeks in a row I open my email app and there you are!! That is so cool!! Last week after I’d opened directly to your email… when I got into bed later that night, I looked at the clock as I snuggled in and it was 1:11. Made me shiver…. I love synchronicities!!!

    Have a wonderful week…
    With love and gratitude…
