Hello, beautiful souls here at Cosmic Updates. It’s Galena the Mystic, your intuitive tarot reader here, and I am here with a love Weekend Tarot Reading, this time for the weekend of May 19. And it is a beautiful New Moon in Taurus. So hopefully, this is catalyzing some new beginnings in your life in the areas of material comfort. And this can definitely positively impact our relationships, as the sign of Taurus is ruled by Venus, which, for those of you who don’t know, Venus rules our relationships. So hopefully, this New Moon is catalyzing developments in this area. And if not, it is inviting you to catalyze those things yourself. And to really figure out new ways of finding comfort in the material realms — maybe invite a new friend out for a drink, maybe invite a new friend over for a movie, maybe watch a new rom-com if that’s something you’re into, maybe redecorate your space to make it really cozy and nurturing. I’ve actually heard it said before that the best way to invite in new love is to clean your bedroom as if a new love is actually going to come over. So that’s something you could be working on—revamping your house, revamping the things that make you feel cozy, taken care of, and secure.

Okay, so we’ll get into the cards to see what we’re tapping into. We’re actually going to do things a little bit differently today and do a collective tarot reading for the whole group and try that out because we really are so in alignment with each other, more so than you might think. Yes, we’re all different. We’re all unique. But when it comes to the themes or processing and love, we really are so similar. So this New Moon in Taurus, we’re gonna try something new. So with that being said, let’s get right into your Weekend Love Tarot Reading for May 19.

All right, lovelies, let’s get right into our collective Tarot reading all about our love life for this weekend of May 19th, at the time of the New Moon in Taurus. And I really want to ask, what new beginnings are happening in this group? But let’s go ahead and first do an energy check. Where are we at as a group, and you’d be surprised how similar we all really are. We are really in this together—the Hermit (reversed), the Ace of Swords (reversed). Okay, right off the bat, we have lots of reversals. Go ahead and get a couple more. What do I need to know about what our group is experiencing together at the time of this weekend? We’re definitely going within to find clarity. Oh my goodness, another reversal. Okay, we have the Hierophant (reversed). I know some of you worry about reversals, but reversals really are not a negative thing. It just gives me extra information as a tarot reader. We have the Seven of Swords (reversed). Top of the deck, we have the Three of Pentacles (reversed), okay.

So this weekend, if I’m being honest, this is a tougher energy. We do have Taurus showing up with the Hierophant. We also have Virgo here—Ace of Swords (reversed), Seven of Swords (reversed). There’s a huge element here of needing to go within to find our own divine authority and to move forward with decisiveness and clarity in order to say, “Okay, I am breaking free from my past.” This is something spirit is really asking us to do and to be pretty intentional about, and understand that it’s going to be difficult with this Three of Pentacles (reversed). Wow, Three of Swords right under the deck. So I know some of you are going through a lot of pain right now. I want to say that this could be a heartbreak of the past as well. It just shows me that heartbreak is informing a lot of our decisions, whether it’s current heartbreak or past heartbreak. Experiencing be really clear about this. Some of you with this Three of Pentacles (reversed) are not co-creating with the universe right now. You’re not co-creating with others, or you’re feeling like you’re not on the same page as others on a very, very practical level.

With this Seven of Swords (reversed), this can lead to self-sabotage. With the Hierophant (reversed), it can lead to really unexpected changes. It’s almost giving me the Wheel of Fortune. But Uranus is in Taurus at this time. So there’s just a lot of unexpected events happening when it comes to what makes us comfortable and what makes us feel safe. And so it’s causing some of you, some of us—I will say I’d like to include myself in this collective—just so you know that you’re never truly alone. That’s one thing I want to say with this, especially with this Hermit (reversed). But it seems like we sometimes are throwing ourselves a little bit of a curveball and blaming the universe for it. And it’s not at all that what we’re experiencing isn’t real or that our reactions to things aren’t valid. Sometimes it’s just that we need to get this Three of Pentacles upright so that we’re all collaborating with people.

And this card actually brings this idea of different people with very different talents and very different skills, bringing something to the table. And they might not be bringing the same things to the table. But what they have to bring creates synergy, it creates momentum, and it actually adds to your life. So I feel like this is something that we’re striving for—we’re striving for connections that, when they bring something to the table and we bring something to the table, it creates like a whole meal or it completes the project or it moves us forward. So there’s balance, and there’s equity, is what I want to say. So we’re trying to get this upright. With this reversal, though, I think that this is quite a struggle for a lot of us this weekend. And with this Seven of Swords (reversed), I think we can be pretty hard on ourselves about it. Some of us are really being encouraged to go within to find our divine authority so that we can make clear decisions for ourselves. And with this Seven of Swords (reversed), you might actually feel guilty for doing that. Oftentimes, we see the Seven of Swords, and we think about deceit, we think of someone getting away with something, right, because this person is carrying five swords, and this could definitely be part of your reality.

But in this reversal, sometimes it’s like we feel like we’re the one doing that when really, this is us being the leader of our own lives. This is us creating structure. And the Hierophant is a very stern sort of energy. This is an energy of having all of your ducks in a row and sticking to your own morals and your own values, potentially sticking to tradition, right? We have this in the reverse too. So I feel like this is something that, again, we’re having a little bit of trouble accessing at this time.

Clarity, walking away from certain situations… Ace of Swords here. The Ace of Swords is the most bitter of new beginnings because it really is so cognizant of the Ten of Swords that came before it, which is all about defeat and ending. So with this reversal, it’s like we haven’t quite kicked off this Ace of Swords yet. And you might be thinking, “I’ve really worked on this a lot.” But it seems like we’re still closing out some of those cycles in which we really believe and expect the worst, not just of others, but of our situation. Or we really struggle to believe in ourselves, especially with the Hermit here. This lantern that the Hermit holds represents the Divine Light within and allowing that light to guide you. And in order to do that, we really need to take time out and center ourselves and get in touch with who we are at our core.

Especially with this Three of Pentacles (reversed), this can be assigned to maybe not collaborate with people if we can’t give that right now or if we can’t receive that right now or if you’re not around the right people to create that with you. And when you decide to leave fear, especially… I don’t know why fear is the main thing that comes to mind as I’m speaking… decided to leave that in the past, we have the Eight of Pentacles (reversed).

What’s going on this weekend? We have the Devil (reversed), okay. So this is where the fear is coming from. Let me go ahead and just cover this so that I do not get in trouble. Okay, so the Devil (reversed). This does talk all about our fears, our worries, the things that our ego says to protect us, which can really hinder your productivity here with the Eight of Pentacles (reversed).

Okay, let’s take these. We have the Four of Wands (reversed), we have Strength (reversed). We have the Nine of Cups (reversed) on top of the deck, and what’s on the bottom? The Lovers. Okay? Wow, beautiful.

So these things are what I really want to say. We have a lot of overcoming fear. Some of you actually are really working on getting out of a situation because we have the Four of Wands here. This is a happy, stable home life, a comfortable, harmonious celebratory stage in your life where you feel really comfortable. You’re really in the flow with others. I can see that overcoming not just fears, but also liberating yourself from things that try to control you, okay, with a Strength card. Those are things that we need to leave behind in order to get this Four of Wands going in our lives.

And with this Eight of Pentacles, I feel like a lot of us have been really trying to do the work on a personal level. With these two cards together, I’m really seeing that this weekend, a lot of us are really, really battling our fears head-on. And some of you may be getting to a point even where you’re ready to give up, like you’re exhausted from fighting your demons every day. You’re really struggling to get along with others. Or it’s not that you don’t get along with them. But it’s not the harmony in the stability you seek.

Strength (reversed) also shows me that you don’t have control over all elements of your situation right now. In this Strength card, she’s very gently closing this lion’s mouth, and there’s no fight, there’s no drama. In this reversal, I feel like you don’t have the control in your situation, especially with the Eight of Pentacles (reversed) here, because the Eight of Pentacles is about working towards something. And in that reversal, I feel like you’ve worked things to death, almost like you have really done a lot of the work that you need to do with this Devil (reversed) as well. However, it looks like the progress you’ve made, you are now trying to force or influence others in your situation to make that same progress.

And I’m here to remind you that you cannot heal others, force others to heal, or fix them. Only they can choose to make the same progress if they want to. So it’s creating resistance with this Nine of Cups (reversed) that is really preventing us from experiencing personal happiness. But at the same time, I intuitively get the sense that we are actually aligning with elements of our situation or aligning with Spirit’s idea of what is going to be best for us. And it is actually going to be better than our own personal wishes at this time.

I feel like if your wish was actually granted at this very second, whatever it is, you would miss some sort of grand alignment here. And with The Lovers, this is all about a fork in the road as well. So I do feel like we’re making some really big decisions as a collective these next few weeks to few months. We’re definitely making some huge, huge, huge decisions. But with this Lovers card, there’s also this idea of those decisions leading to a grand alignment. For a lot of us, this is union with a soulmate, especially because The Lovers is often a romantic card. But also just situations that are better, healthier, more harmonious—right, the Four of Wands—but upright, the Eight of Pentacles. But upright, where we’re being productive, we feel like our work is actually showing itself. Eights also could be significant. So look out for repeating eights since we have two here. But it seems like we’re actually coming into alignment with a situation in which we are being a lot more effective. Our relationships are nurturing us a lot more.

And with Strength (reversed) here, it’s like we don’t have to be so on top of everything. I feel like with this Strength (reversed), a lot of us are just carrying so much. Some of us can also be in a phase where they’re enduring so much, like you’ve had to be so extremely resilient. And it seems like, honestly, with what I’m seeing this weekend, it feels like we don’t think it’s paying off. That’s what this Nine of Cups (reversed) is showing me. It’s like we feel like we’re not receiving the fruits of our labor, especially when that labor has been energetic and spiritual in nature.

The Lovers shows me, though, that we are divinely protected as we work through this. This is Archangel Raphael for those of you who resonate with angels, and Archangel Raphael guides us to that which is most in alignment with our heart’s true desires. Higher Spirit also wants to say we understand your heart’s desires even more than you do at times, okay? And maybe that’s why The Hermit (reversed) came up in the beginning because we’re being called to dive deep within and understand ourselves more, and then make decisions from that place. All right, let’s go ahead. What do we need to know about our love lives this weekend? Okay, we have Ascendant and Trance. Oh, this is really exciting. Okay, understand that you are the blessing—that’s something that I want to say as well. There’s a message coming through about worthiness, understand that you are the blessing. Activate Solar Flares, we have Libra (balance). So yeah, Libra could be significant. But this is literally about harmony, balance, reciprocation. So yeah, understand that your personality, the way you move in this world, and just in general, how you are who you are, it activates awakenings in people, first of all—that’s what I want to say, I know that sounds so dramatic, but that’s really what I’m seeing here. And when you give love, understand how precious that is, understand how valuable that is, and how transformative it can be.

With this Debilitated card on top of the deck, Discomfort, this is the vibe, this is exactly what I’m saying. I’m feeling like all of our efforts are not paying off. Like I said, some of you could feel trapped in certain situations, some of you could feel like you kind of have to fall back and almost play a supporting role to Spirit. I feel like that’s what you’re being asked to do, especially because I see that so many of you have worked on yourselves. Maybe you’re going to therapy, working on your relationships with other people. There was a lot of internal and external work that you’ve been doing. But right now, Spirit’s saying the best thing you can do for yourself this weekend is spend time with yourself and give yourself all the things that you want to receive.

Also, when it comes to other people, there’s this element of other people not catching up to you at this time, or like you’ve done a certain amount of work and other people who are around you simply are not there right now, or they’re simply not really understanding and not really resonating with where you’re at.

So yes, with this, though, I feel like there’s a huge activation occurring. Also, your awakening—there’s this feeling of you being wiser, being more aware, being more ready, being more ready to receive as well. So don’t think that progress isn’t being made. Progress is being made on all fronts. It’s just with this debilitated card, there’s this feeling of it not being ready or you’re not being able to break through quite yet. But the time to act and the time to move… like there’s motion here, there really is motion here. And something huge is being activated in your life.

With Libra, the more balanced you are internally and the more harmonious you are with others… I almost want to say passive, be passive, especially if you’re around toxic people with the Devil (reversed) we saw earlier. That being said, don’t tolerate anything you don’t deserve. This is more about those situations in which you can’t change anything right now. And if you need to close some doors, not just to shut people out, but to create sacred space for you to go within and recognize your own divinity. Recognize how worthy you are, then take that time, okay, and you will be able to make decisions from a much clearer place, especially because big decisions are coming up. So spirit really wants you to be prepared to make these decisions from your most empowered place and from a place of inherent worthiness.
