Hi there, this is Jonathan Lionheart with your Weekly Tarot Reading.
I wanted to talk to you briefly about a dynamic that’s been coming up and that you’ll see in some of the reading ahead, which is this idea that obsessions or addictions or challenging, complicated relationships are only something that’s happening to us. And it’s important to remember that anything that we’re involved… when involved with outside of ourselves, it has a place that is also happening inside of us. So there’s some reason that we’re continuing in a dynamic that might not be healthy in some way. And it’s important to realize this, because it does actually give us some power.
When we realize, “Oh, there’s something in me that’s not getting met in the way that it needs to, or there’s something in me that hasn’t had a chance to heal yet. And that’s why I’m continuing to run into this particular dynamic outside of myself.”
So anyways, I’m excited for you to check out your reading today. And as always, I love connecting with you. You can grab a private reading with me down below. And let’s jump right on in, take care.
So wherever you happen to be right now, and give yourself a moment to take a few deep breaths, maybe bring your awareness down into your body, noticing the support of the earth beneath you. And just enjoying the simplicity of breathing for a few moments.
We call out to Mother, Father, God, the denizens of light, the angels, and the Archangels. Call out to the deep ones, the rooted ones. Call out to the grandmothers and the grandfathers of the north, the south, the east, and the west, please be with us now. Help bring through a clear message, and the perfect energy to support those who are witnessing this video at this moment. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
So you’ll be using your intuition to choose between three options, which will subsequently open up into a weekly reading for the week ahead. So first option will be here, underneath the purple fluorite. A second option will be underneath the selenite. And third option will be underneath the opal.
So you might even place your hand on your heart or your belly as you’re noticing the cards in front of you. And just notice which one is speaking to you right now? Which one do your eyes keep coming back to? And really trust your intuition that the information that’s going to come through for the reading you choose is right for you in this moment.
FIRST CARD – FLUORITE
All right, so we’ll start with the first card, the first option. You’re more than welcome to fast forward to the option that you’ve chosen. We will start with the purple fluorite one here. So for those that chose the first option, this is going to be the reading for you. I’m just going to tune in with that group of people.
All right. So your reading today, the first card will be the Situation for the week ahead. Second card will be the Obstacle. And third card will be the Outcome. So let’s take a look at what we have.
Situation card for the week ahead is our Temperance card. This is one of my favorite. It’s a rather esoteric card. It actually has more to do with internal alchemy and the alchemy of your soul than it does with some sort of just being temperate or careful or moderate in your actions.
Generally, when Temperance comes up, it has to do with looking at multiple things that have happened in your life simultaneously, and beginning to see them from a new perspective. It’s the churning of internal processes that brings forward something new, brings forward the emergence of something new.
So for some of you, it’s possible that you’ve been ruminating on or re-experiencing a pattern that you’ve seen before in your past, whether this is a pattern that’s shown up in your relationships, or a pattern that’s shown up in your relationship to money, to career. Something is being repeated in a particular way right now.
But what’s the lucky part, or the the positive side of this, is that you’re getting to repeat it with a new perspective, which means it has the possibility of finalizing… this particular pattern could be coming to an end. So for some of you, it’s quite possible that this is the process that’s happening.
For others, this can just be a reminder that you know what it is that you’re wanting, which would be symbolized by the sun over here, which sometimes represents enlightenment, or a big goal of yours. And for these individuals, it’s a reminder that there’s a narrow path. If you know what you want, it’s time to start orienting and organizing your life in such a way that each step you’re taking is leading you closer to that particular end goal.
So let’s take a look at the Obstacle that could be coming up this week for you that might be creating a little bit of pressure on this Situation card. So the Obstacle this week is our King of Swords, which could be a sign that you’re either having to deal with an authority figure or somebody who is a perceived authority or an actual authority, that’s creating an obstacle for you to move forward. This could be somebody like a teacher, a boss. This could be a lawyer. There are a number of different people this could be, and in one way or another, they’re creating an obstacle.
So it’s quite possible that some of what you’re experiencing is an old pattern having to do with authority figures, and you’re getting a chance to look at it again. The way you know that this is the case is that a you could start to get triggered in a particular situation. And something in you might go, “Gosh, this seems familiar. I feel like I’ve been here before.” And that’s the cue. That’s the sign to take it a step back, maybe journal a little bit, meditate on: What is this particular… Who is this person that I’m in conflict with, or that’s triggering me? And how are they represented in different people throughout my life? Because there’s something that’s being raised to the surface that’s allowing you to see this with greater clarity.
So for others, it’s possible that you are up against somebody that is highly analytical, but not not very heart oriented, very little empathy, very little receptivity to you. So this could be a representation of somebody else, this can also be a sign that maybe what it is that you’re trying to get to this idea of something that, you know, you want, you’re going at it from a little bit too much of the mental planning, warrior side, and not bringing the rest of your intelligence into the conversation.
So let’s take a look at what the Outcome is for the week ahead. We’ve got our Six of Swords, and our Six of Swords is, in a nutshell, moving away from something that is chaotic. In other words, moving away from drama, moving away from a hard situation towards a more peaceful environment.
Now, often, this card shows up when we’re not necessarily in a place to be able to fully resolve something, but we are able to extract ourselves from a situation that’s really not treating us very well.
So, in the context of what we’ve seen so far, the movement towards temperance, towards creating some peace, creating some inner resolution would be not to be going to war with somebody, not trying to solve a problem that doesn’t want to be solved.
More and more in the psychotherapy field, and the mental health field in general, it’s becoming pretty clear that hyper-focusing on old trauma or old challenges and just trying to get the story right there actually can create more pain.
So the resolution piece here is: It’s time to give yourself some room, to feel at peace. Now that might be: Give yourself some room from your own mental war that might be going on about how to figure something out.
It could mean giving yourself some room from a person, an individual in your life, that’s creating a lot of drama, whether externally creating a lot of drama, or creating a lot of havoc internally for you.
So let’s take a look at our Advice card for the week ahead. So your Advice card is, is really at its base to be willing to take action, right, take control of the situation. If there’s something you know you can do to create a little bit more peace in your life, or to move on to smoother waters? It’s time to do that.
This is kind of the reminder to move from a victim attitude and attitude where it’s like: “Oh, woe is me, look at what life has brought upon me,” to: “Okay, what are the things that I have control over? What are the things that I have that I can influence, and am I willing to start making some of the changes or taking some action in such a way that it will actually bring some resolution or some positive forward movement?”
Now, this card is also often connected with our deep, primal or instinctual sense. So some of this is being willing to just take action, like you might not have the full plan, which is part of the reason why this king can sort of show up as an obstacle is trying to get it right.
The Chariot might be saying, listen to your gut, get moving. Chariot, the chariot tends to go a little this way and a little this way, it’s okay to not get it right 100% the first time and have to reorient a little bit.
So be willing to just get the wheels turning. Doing so will open up possibilities for you. So for those of you that chose the first option, that is your reading for the week ahead. Thanks for tuning in with me. I look forward to connecting with you again soon.
SECOND CARD – SELENITE
And we will now be opening up the second option, which was our Selenite – excuse me while I sip on my drink here. And so for those of you that chose the second card, the selenite, this is going to be the reading for the week ahead for you. So let me just tune in with you for a moment.
All right, good. So our second group, this will be your Situation card. We’ve got our Obstacle, and our Outcome card. So let’s take a look here.
So, Situation card for the week ahead is our Six of Wands, our victory card. As you can see in the card image, there’s an individual who’s riding, likely through town, but at the very least, through a group of people with the victory reef. He’s being seen for his success. This is a card of a great victory of you doing very well in something and likely being seen by others for what you’re bringing to the table.
So for some of you, this could show up just in the internal, where you are feeling confident, you’re feeling capable, you’re, you’re feeling like you can make things happen, you know what you want.
This is a high energy, high vitality card.
For some of you, this could also show up in a more public way where you’re being recognized by the people you work with or recognized on an even larger platform for something you’ve accomplished. And it can be anywhere basically in between where you’re just feeling like not only are you having great successes in your life, but others are celebrating you as well.
So this is a great, this is definitely a great card to show up for the start of the week.
Let’s see what there might be in the Obstacle position. So the Obstacle position, and we’ve seen this a couple of times recently, is the Devil card. And so the Obstacle might be, and this is an interesting, this is an interesting combination.
The Obstacle… just to say, the Devil card can be a number of different things. It tends to be how we are obsessed with or chained by or locked into the material world. And this can look like different types of addiction, including substances, it can be feeling trapped in an organization, trapped in a relationship.
And often the… this particular combination can have a little bit to do with our ego. In other words, big success. But we might be feeling maybe overly confident, or even a little bit self-obsessed in some way. So, just to be aware, for some of you, that could be the combination that’s going on here.
For others, it could be that you’re ready to step into this greater position of feeling like you’re seeing, you’re getting the things that you want, but you’re still in a situation that feels like it has you chained down, like you’re stuck.
And this is a lot of… this is kind of an intense combination of energy. Because this is… the Six of Wands is very forward moving, very energized, very full of success. And the Devil card can feel like you’re hampered down like you’re stuck, like there’s nowhere to go. It’s important to recognize that often. And this isn’t always the case.
But often with the Devil card, there’s more… you have more freedom or more ability to make a choice. That is, that liberates you more than you might think. And that’s why it’s often connected to addiction, where it’s like I can’t get out of this. This is the mindset.
But the truth of the matter is, there is support for you. There are ways to move forward.
So let’s take a look at your Outcome card for the week ahead. So this is an interesting, this is an interesting combination here, because our Six of Wands often denotes a sense of being seen by others. And the the Hermit here is that turning inwards and being with yourself.
So I almost want to lean on this particular interpretation, which is saying that there might be a reaching for needing to be seen, wanting to be seen by others, wanting to be appreciated by the people around us, and not necessarily in the way that is naturally sort of healthy, but in a way that makes us feel like we only have value when other people are obsessing over us or wanting us or curious about us.
And so the trajectory is to go inward. The trajectory is to search inside. Where is the light that already resides within you? Where is the sense of comfort in the sense of wisdom that is inherent to your body, to your soul to who you are, as you are?
Now the Hermit can also sometimes be a sign of meeting a teacher, meeting someone that has lessons for you in this lifetime. This could be a teacher from a deep tradition, this could also be a teacher that’s just a karmic teacher, somebody that is meant to show up at the right moment.
I am getting kind of the sense that this is a poignant moment this next week, where there could be a collision within yourself around what it is that you’re wanting. And maybe seeing that it’s not the depth of what you’re truly wanting, and that there’s a calling at another level that’s trying to come in.
So let’s take a look at the Advice card for your week ahead. Such an appropriate card. So our Strength card is what’s showing up, and when the Strength card is showing up as Advice, it’s reminding you to keep to your integrity, to be patient, to be kind, but to stay with what you know to be true and know to be right.
It’s also a reminder that the parts of ourselves, the lion and the devil, can sometimes be associated in this particular, in the Strength card. The lion is a representation of our more primal nature, the more primal aspects of ourselves, the parts that both can feel aggressive but also can feel deep fear or lack or uncertainty.
And often it’s these parts of ourselves that can get looped into addictive cycles or looped into codependent situations. And the way that one moves through that is through kindness and compassion towards yourself, while still staying the course, still staying with the divine law or with your integrity.
So the advice, the advice for this time is to be very kind to yourself, but also to maintain a sense of what your true values are.
So for those of you that chose the second card, that’s your reading for the week ahead. Thank you so much for tuning in. And I look forward to connecting with you again soon. Take care.
THIRD CARD – OPAL
And now we will be opening up our third option… excuse me while I grab another drink. And those of you that chose the opal, the third option, this is going to be your reading for the week ahead. So excuse me while I tune in with you for just a moment. Alright, let’s take a look.
So first card will be this Situation. Second card is your Obstacle. And third card will be the Outcome.
So let’s take a look at the Situation for the week ahead. We’ve got our Emperor card, which I think showed up last week. And the Emperor card is about order and discipline and structure. It’s the ability to create, inform, and to move things in a way that you want them to be able to direct and guide life in a particular fashion.
So for some of you, this could be the direction that you’re trying to build for yourself. How do you create order? How do you create the structure in your life that you truly want?
For others, this can be a sign of being in contact with somebody who has mastered this realm, mastered the realm of the material world… that would be wealth. This could be a businessman, this could be a boss of some kind, this could be a father figure.
So let’s take a look at our second card just to get a little bit more information about how the Emperor is being represented here. So let’s take a look at the Obstacle. Obstacle is our Two of Cups. Very interesting.
So the Two of Cups can represent a kind of connection, a kind of reciprocity between two people. This might look like a deep and lasting friendship, it can look like new love, it can look like a new business partnership.
And so this being the Obstacle, it’s quite possible that there’s something there’s either a new business partnership, or a new love connection, that is creating a little bit of instability in what it is that you’re trying to create in your life.
Now this can be good instability. In other words, a new business partner can force you to look at your work situation with new eyes, and which means that you have to restructure some things. A new relationship, this can look like a distraction, or an energizing influence that that forces you to look at life in a new way. Now that’s on the positive side.
On the not so great side, you could be coming up against a business situation or a colleague situation that is wrought with some tension or is creating some, there’s some stubbornness in there.
In a love situation, this can be a kind of relationship that doesn’t quite feel like it’s fitting into your life.
So let’s take a look at your Outcome card for the week ahead. So this is pretty telling, we’ve got our Five of Wands, which is precisely a sign of some conflict of maybe some fighting, some argumentation on the high side of the spectrum.
This can be the healthier kind of argument that gets you somewhere that is like a needed argument, the kind that you come out the other side and go, “Gosh, I learned a lot. And I actually feel like we grew closer as a result.”
On the negative side. It can be the type that doesn’t feel like it’s going anywhere. So there’s definitely that sign here.
I would recommend, because sometimes the Emperor is a sign of a certain kind of stubbornness and unwillingness to change, I would definitely pay attention to any kind of stubborn attitude that you might have that’s really not moving things forward. And that could be your stubborn attitude, that could be somebody else in your life, whether that’s, once again, a business partner, or a relationship where there’s just sort of unnecessary stubbornness that’s causing some issues. Because the more you can be a little bit honest about what the real issue might be… sometimes stubbornness is a way of protecting a deeper vulnerability. The more you can be, or the person that you’re in some conflict with, can be a little bit more vulnerable, the less this has to be the kind of conflict that causes a lot of trouble.
Let’s take a look at your Advice card for the weekend. Okay, Advice card is the Tower. So this is a sign that things are changing, whether you like it or not. It’s time to get on board with it.
In other words, there could be something that is shaking up in your life, or that is about to start shaking up in your life. And rather than fighting it, and staying in that stubborn kind of attitude, being willing to go with the changes that are trying to happen.
This can mean finding ways to protect yourself. It can also mean seeing where things are going and kind of following suit, not resisting, not trying to fight, not trying to grasp on to what might be changing.
The other piece that this can really speak to, which I’m getting a little bit more of a hit on is the Tower card can be like a conceptual edifice. And what that means is an idea or a way of thinking that you’ve congealed around, you’ve become really tight about. And it’s quite possible that that part of you… an idea, a way of thinking… is being shaken up. And this is a good thing, it means that you’re going to get a chance to learn. You’re going to get a chance to see things from a new perspective.
So there could be something really positive about this whole movement and the week ahead. So thanks for tuning in with me. For those of you that chose the third card that was your reading. And for everybody else, it’s always a pleasure to get to do these readings for you. I’m looking forward to connecting again next week. Have a wonderful week. I’ll see you soon.
