TRANSCRIPT:

Hello, my friends at Cosmic Updates, it is Deco back again and this time with the reading for this coming week. We’re in March, it is so far into Pisces season. We’re sneaking up on Aries season. There’s a lot of things to look forward to. Again, we can look at this time of year as just like the end of a cycle because if we’re looking at the Zodiac calendar, I know I said in last week’s video that Aries is the start of the Zodiac calendar, which means Pisces rounds it all out. It’s about endings. It’s the 12th sign of the Zodiac, so we have to be thinking about death, regeneration, thinking about new beginnings. So, what I want to think about with this week’s reading is kind of like, how do we tie up some loose ends, okay? What do we need to do to be ready for some fresh starts that are coming up? So, let’s pull some cards, see what we need to know. We already have a card that popped out. Alright, let’s see what else we need to know.

Okay, so guys, right now is about taking time for yourself. Honestly, all of the cards that popped up right here, remind me, excuse me, a lot of the conversations that I’ve been hearing surrounding winter time, and I recognize that we have some Southern Hemisphere friends, so maybe this isn’t as accurate for you, but a lot of us in the Northern Hemisphere, as we’re going through the winter season, it’s kind of a time to hibernate, to reflect, to look at new opportunities. And, for our friends who are in the Southern Hemisphere, you’re kind of entering that period where you’re looking at finding those things that need to come to an end. So, while we’re at different kind of like, seasons in our lives, there’s still opportunity to look for fresh starts, but more specifically to look for how to close some older chapters.

So, we’ve got The Hermit and we’ve got the Four of Swords. These are maybe the most isolated of all of the cards when we see The Hermit. I would say it’s not quite as isolated as the Four of Swords, where the Four of Swords is like you need to take a break. If you look at the imagery, sorry, there’s a very bright light. In the imagery of this card, she looks peaceful, she looks asleep, she looks like she’s really taking time for herself, to be able to just reflect and take care of herself. Really focusing on self-care and making sure that she’s feeling good about herself. While The Hermit is saying, “Yeah, you might need to take some time for yourself right now to do some self-reflecting things for yourself.” But, The Hermit is also wise enough to know when they need more information, when they need more guidance, when they need something to help them find where they’re trying to be. Because The Hermit is all about finding new knowledge and then implementing it into your life.

And, I think a lot of why we need to do this is for our emotional energy. The Queen of Cups is the water of water, the Cup of Cups, if you will, right? It’s like we’re very, very focused about our empathy. We’re focused on our emotions, on our spirituality, on our creativity and all of those things. And so, when we see the Queen of Cups in a reading like this, it means that we really need to look at recharging ourselves emotionally, recharging ourselves spiritually, looking at this as a time to rest so that when we do start diving into our spirituality, again, diving into our emotions again, we’re ready for that because maybe we’re diving deeper than we did before, or maybe we’re diving in a way that is just different than we did before. Maybe not quite as deep, but maybe just a different area of our lives. So, we need to be thinking about how we can enter this new chapter and be ready for the challenges that we might face, right?

Lemme pull some new cards and see what else we need to know. Okay, so yes, this is the time to just take some time for yourself. Three of Swords being in reverse, my friends is all about being able to move on from those pains that we had for a really long time. From being able to forgive ourselves for some of those things. Maybe you need to do some self-forgiveness, not just self-reflection, but seeing those things that maybe we’re embarrassed about or seeing those things that we did that resulted in pain for ourselves. Sometimes we’re the people that are the catalyst of change and pain that happens in our life. And so, sometimes we need to say, you know what? It’s okay that happened. It’s okay that I made that choice. We think the Three of Swords being in this reading is kind of saying, you need to reflect on that and say it’s okay to move forward.

And, the Six of Wands in reverse is saying, maybe this feels a little bit lonely. But, you know what? Again, that Hermit and that Four of Swords are saying, I think this is kind of a lonely time, but this is also the time with the Queen of Pentacles. Sorry, I’m trying to pick it up. I’ve missed it five times. The Queen of Pentacles is about taking care of your body, taking care of your family, taking care of your money, making sure that your job is good, making sure that you have this good balance between those things in your life and your emotions at the same time. Because remember, the Queens represent our emotions and our spirituality and all of those things. So, when we tie that to the Pentacles, we need to start thinking about the things that we’re interacting with, the people that we’re interacting with, the places that we’re interacting with, and how we can feel more safe in those spaces, feel more content and comfortable in those spaces instead of feeling a little bit out of sorts. And so, I feel like this time of year is really about taking time with yourself to reflect, to heal, to grow, to communicate with the people that you love in a way that is both reflective but also forward focused, where you’re thinking about “How do I grow with these people instead of growing apart with these people.”

I’m going to pull one more card from the Oracle Deck. I love this deck. It is my only Oracle deck. I’m very tied to this deck. I love it a lot. So, let’s see what this deck needs to say. I feel like this card is calling to me. Cracked Open, so this card, while it doesn’t look super positive, (sorry, you really can’t see these cards at this angle,) Cracked Open says Rock Bottom, Surrender to the Alchemy of Life. But, the thing about this is, if you look at the image, which I would try to show you, but clearly the light is not helping us, Cracked Open, it shows someone who’s cracking, literally, they’re Cracked Open and inside is this literal other world. So, instead of just saying like, “Oh, this is happening to me. This is painful. This is something that I don’t want to have in my life anymore,” it’s important to process your trauma. It’s important to process the hard things that you went through so that you can keep moving forward and find this new beginning.

Remember, we’re closing chapters, we’re closing cycles, we’re ending this Zodiac year and looking at new opportunities, right? Aries is all about initiating and starting fresh and doing new things for yourself and being excited with that fire and passion. So, we need to start thinking now about how to heal emotionally from some of the things that we’re trying to leave behind. And, part of that is coming to terms with the fact that they haven’t, that they are a fact of our life, not something that we’re just trying to get rid of. They’re there and we have to process them and give ourselves the opportunity to heal so that we can move forward as a more full version of ourselves than maybe this fragment of ourselves that we’ve been living with for a while.

So, my friends at Cosmic updates, there’s so much to look forward to, but we have to be willing to close these chapters of grief, to close these chapters of pain and to recognize that while it might be even more painful to close those chapters, it’s necessary for you to move forward into this next chapter with the vigor that you need, to really own it. I think there’s a lot to look forward to, my friends, and I think that you just need to recognize that time with yourself, time to reflect, time to heal, time to grow, all of those things are important for the next chapter that you’re about to enter into. And, you’ve got to own it. You got to say, “It’s okay that I’m struggling. It’s okay that I’m going through hard things because there’s so much more out there for me.”

Okay? Best of luck. I’m excited to see you guys next week, and I hope you have a great week as it moves forward. Take your time, heal, fill up that basket of spoons and get excited for what’s to come. Best of luck.
