CARD ONE
So situation card for this time is the Eight of Pentacles. And you can notice with the Eight of Pentacles, this individual is working very hard on producing the Pentacles. He’s finished some of them down here. There’s a few that are hanging that he’s still working on. Something that’s important about this is that he’s far away from the city, which means that there’s a lot of focus on the work in front of him.

So for some of you, this can be a sign that love isn’t the most important thing in your life right now. You are putting your attention and your energy towards the work that you’re doing, whether that’s the work on your own personal life, work on your personal self, or the actual career work that you’ve got your attention on. Often this guy can be seen as being far away from family and actually just doing the work that is right in front of him, trying to become masterful at it. So for some of you, it can be a sign that you’re just not focused on your love life right now for others, this can be precisely what it is that you’re working on. You are working specifically on your love right now. Whether that’s a relationship that feels like it’s taking a lot of time, a lot of attention, or you’re working on yourself to become the person that you want to be in a relationship. So a lot of attention, a lot of work, a lot of willingness to grow and learn.

Now, this doesn’t necessarily denote a time that is fun and full of sparks and giggles and silliness. It’s more of a time of seriousness of, of really putting in the attention and the work that is going to produce results both in your romantic life, but also in the person that you’re becoming. So let’s take a look at your obstacle card right now.

Very interesting. So our obstacle card is showing up as our Page of Wands. And the Page of Wands you might notice, is dressed rather flamboyantly. He’s got sort of like a flare and a, a sort of almost like a maverick quality to him. He’s also in the middle of the desert where he still happens to have, um, blooming leaves on his stick. So some of what the Page of Wands represents is a kind of creative ingenuity, a creativeness of being able to change costumes and change things quickly.

He’s also able to create life energy out of nothing. So there’s a lot of creative energy around this particular individual. Now that being said, the Page of Wands can be pretty flighty. So for some of you, this might represent somebody in your life who is there and then not really. They’re kind of immature, sometimes the Page of Wands is the perfect Peter Pan syndrome individual, which is an individual who really makes you feel excited, makes you feel loved, and then kind of disappears.

He’s afraid of commitment. He’s afraid of deeper, long lasting love. He kind of wants to be there for the fun, uh, and can lead people on and then sort of disappears and, and can’t really handle the deeper responsibility of relationship. So for some of you, it’s possible that you feel like you’re putting a lot of work in and you don’t have the reciprocal. There isn’t somebody on the other side that is putting in the same level of commitment.

For others, this might actually represent you, which is meaning that you’re aiming to move towards this greater degree of commitment towards yourself, towards relationship, towards love. But you’re finding you that you’re a little bit distracted, you kind of go this way, you kind of go that way. Um, you’d rather follow the quick sparks, then build the longer developed, um, type of commitment and growth that it takes to, to really build oneself and to really bloom into another place. Alright, so our lovely outcome card for this time around is our Tower card. And before you, ooh and awe and cower and fear of the big changes that might be showing up in your life; The Tower card can be a sign of challenges and big disruptions. I like to look at the positive side of The Tower card, which is something that has felt like a, um, like a stuck foundational way of being is getting disrupted. This means old patterns, old ways of doing something are getting shaken at their core.

Now, anything that has been with us for a long time and that maybe we think is part of who we are or our personality or just the way things are, when something like that gets shaken or broken down, it’s gonna create some ripples. It’s gonna have some fear. There’s gonna be some intense moments, but at the end of the day, it’s open up space for a brand new possibility.

So for some of you, this might be that you actually click in to doing the work. You say, you know what? I’m tired of being sort of flighty and going this way and that way and not really cinching down. I’m ready to do the work. And that opens something up for you. For others, it’s possible that you’re coming to realize that the person that you’re putting all that time, all that energy into, it’s not worth it. It’s time for you to have a little bit more self dignity and say, I’m ready for something new. So let’s take a look at our advice card for this time.

And when I see this in this particular context, I see this as advice with being like creating security for yourself, finding ways to keep yourself grounded, finding ways to be conservative with your energy and your time, really attending to what you need to attend to and cultivating the space and room so that when it’s time for you to put energy out there, or when things start to shift or change, you’ve got some resources, uh, energetic resources, maybe financial resources that can be applied to the changes that are coming.

Because this Tower card is definitely a sign of some things getting shaken up, um, hopefully and most likely for the better. But it’s a good time for you to sort of hunker down, take care of yourself, make sure that you have the resources necessary for changes to come.

All right, let’s take a look. So your first card will be the situation card, which is the current context of your love life, whether that’s the external events or the internal growing process that’s occurring. Second card is going to be the obstacle, which is the reciprocal energy, the energy that’s pushing against you in your process of growth and learning. As we well know, there needs to be a certain type of gravity to push against in our growing process. And third card is going to be your outcome card, which are the potentials of what it is that comes as a result of the events that are occurring now, your own learning and growth process, what you might be stepping into in terms of new lessons or what it is that you can expect in regards to the blooming of what’s happening now. So let’s take a look at your situation card for the, this particular time.

We’ve got our Hanged Man card here. And as many of you know, this is one of my absolute favorite cards. The Hanged Man is kind of like the yogi of the major arcana. We don’t know for sure whether The Hanged Man hung himself there or if somebody else put him there, but you might notice it’s not like he’s suffering terribly. In fact, there’s a light around his head, which is a symbolism of clarity or enlightenment. He’s really in sort of a position of curiosity and there’s even like determination on his face. So what the Hanged Man card usually represents is a period of time where you are in deep learning and deep processing. In other words, you’ve been put or you’ve put yourself in a situation where you’re having to look at things from a new perspective.

You’re being forced to learn about something. Um, this doesn’t tend to be a particularly comfortable period of time, but it’s a time where you can grow immensely. So often I consider this sort of like the universal pause button. Nothing is going to move forward for a little bit. Life has you on pause, and it’s asking you to digest and interpret and percolate in the things that are around you at this particular time. So for some of you, this could be a sign that you are in a relationship and you’re being forced to really look at the dynamics of what’s happening around you. You’re being asked to get curious about maybe journal, uh, maybe work with a relationship therapist, but you’re being asked to really peer into the circumstances of your life and the relationship that you’re in right now for others. It’s possible that you’re not in a relationship right now and you’re not going to be in one right away.

It’s, it’s a time period of getting really interested about what is it like not being in a relationship? What’s it like being alone? Am I constantly distracting myself from the feelings of aloneness? Am I totally content and feeling fantastic here? Whatever it may be for you, it’s important to to sort of put the magnifying glass up on what it is that’s occurring in your world right now because there’s something for either of these circumstances. There’s something in this moment that is like a key. It’s a key that can open a door to a new level of awareness for you, but you have to get curious about what it is that’s going on around you so that you can gather up that information and gain this insight.

So let’s take a look at the obstacle card right now. Ooh la la, the Eight of Swords is what’s showing up here. That gives us a bit more of a context into this period of time. It appears that there could be a lot of worry, a lot of self-doubt. Um, it could feel somewhat hopeless in some ways. A lot of this will be mental chatter, maybe emotional stickiness that’s happening for you right now. And basically what we’re getting from the card that’s beforehand. So let me just give you a bit of background. The Eight of Swords is definitely a card where we feel trapped, we feel stuck, we’re in the muddy waters, we’re trapped by the swords. She’s far away from the castle up above, which means that she doesn’t feel like she’s home. She may have wandered away from the place that is right for her.

So what we know about this circumstance so far is that our Hanged Man card is letting us know it’s not a time to struggle and fight and tear at trying to get away from what we’re in right now.

What’s best for us right now is actually take, take a step back, assess the situation, find some peace, some calm, recognize that things aren’t going to change right away. And see if there’s something in this moment that you can learn from. This is also a great time, particularly with the Eight of Swords. And also in a hang demand situation to talk to a professional, somebody that is a therapist, a spiritual guide, somebody that can or a good friend, somebody that can give you some really good insight into what they’re seeing. Help guide you into the depths of yourself because this is not a circumstance that you’re gonna be able to simply struggle your way out of. The Hanged Man card is a sign that it’s time to pause, look around, see if you can see things from a new perspective. That’s the way that this is gonna open up for you.

Let’s take a look at our outcome card. Well, this is lovely. So the Page of Cups as an outcome card is a sign that you might actually as a result of this heaviness as a result of like taking the step back. You know, uh, sometimes we do like the Chinese finger trap thing and we’re struggling so hard, but you can’t get out of it that if you give yourself a little bit of respite, not trying to solve the problem or the situation that’s in front of you right away, that there can be some joy that comes in. There can be some silliness, some laughter. This might be literally one of those moments where you, you’re sort of like tied up and things are complicated and sticky and you get a little bit of an outside perspective and you look at yourself and you’re like, there’s a ridiculousness to this.

And you end up finding yourself laughing and laughing and laughing and laughing and laughing. So the page of cups can be a sign that more joy is ready to come into your life. More silliness, more play might be available. It can also be a sign of that. All this seriousness right here, there could be somebody that’s coming in that reminds you of the levity of life. This could be a, uh, romantic connection that is built off of really good humor and play. This could be simply a friend or simply your own internal self going, you know what? We need a little bit of silliness. We need a little bit of fun for a bit.

So let’s take a look at your situation card for this time period. Wowee 10 of Cups is the epitome of relational enjoyment. Everything you see in this card image is about connection, love, relationship, joy.

We’ve got the family. The children are playing in peace with one another, uh, mirrored by adults who are loving one another. They’re seeing the beautiful rainbow up above. This is such a powerful joy card. So if you are not already in a deep, loving relationship, one that is fulfilling you, that feels like, uh, it’s got everything that you could imagine, it is totally possible that something like that is on the horizon for you. This is the situation that is in your life right now or soon to be in your life. So for some of you, you’re already in that relationship. You can see that this is turning into exactly what you want it to be. It’s what you’ve been waiting for. For others. It’s possible that this hasn’t happened yet, but it’s coming in soon. And for others, it’s possible that you’ve found this in yourself. You’ve found this in your friend group. It’s something that is alive even if it’s not something that is romantic just yet.

So let’s take a look at your obstacle card, which will be the reciprocal energy pushing up against this situation. Obstacle card is our lovely Strength card. And so the Strength card tends to show up when we’re needing to be patient. So this can be needing to be patient and staying in integrity with ourselves. So in this particular context, it’s quite possible that some of you have found this person, but you’re not with them or physically with them at the moment, and you’re having to be patient. You’re having to wait. You’re having to sort of, um, stay the course and, uh, have faith that it’s going to show up and arrive in exactly the way that you want it to.

And this is just a reminder to stay true to this love. Stay true to yourself. Don’t let yourself be pulled this way or that way because of the outer events or because of injustices that might be going on around you. Stay true to yourself. Remain patient for others. It’s possible that you are not with somebody at the moment, but you know that this is what you’re wanting. And the reminder is to stay in the grace of your deeper heart, of the grace of your deeper wisdom. Stay the course, remain in strength, remain in integrity, and this is what it is that you are waiting for or that is coming into your world. So let’s take a look at your outcome card.

This is a really interesting outcome card for this combination here. The Ace of Swords tends to be insight, like new revelation, new understandings coming in. So part of this is when we know that this is what we want, or it may be that we already have it and we’re willing to stay in integrity, be patient, stay the course that it opens up a new realm of reality. It opens up new insights for you. In other words, you staying true to yourself. It’s kind of like, um, if you’re willing to sit, stay in meditation for, um, uh, an extended period of time. There comes a point where the field of awareness opens up. And it’s like this. If you’re willing to stay attuned with what you know to be true and with what you know that you want, or stay attuned to the person that you’re waiting for, a new understanding starts to awaken in you. It, this is a really powerful piece. For whatever reason, I’m seeing this almost as like the integrity of your spine, which is the kundalini channel, the governing channel. Which means that like when you have this kind of integrity that’s showing up, there’s new awareness that awakens through you from heaven all the way through to earth. So the advice card for this time is to keep the faith. We’ve got our, uh, wonderful Fool card, which is that willingness to believe that anything is possible, that willingness to be guided by the unknown, guided by the possibilities that are before us.
