Hello, hello, beautiful souls here at Cosmic Updates, this is your Intuitive Tarot Reader, Galena the Mystic, and I am back with a Timeless Pick-A-Card Reading. And, this week our topic is Why Did They Pull Away? So, if you have been in a connection and this person you’ve been involved with has pulled away from you, maybe cut off contact or maybe you’re just not as close as you have been previously, we’re going to try to get to the bottom of that today and see what messages Spirit can provide for us for the highest and greatest good for you and your connection. So, you’re going to pick a card that resonates most with you and move to the timestamp associated with this reading. 

So, for Group Number One, we have The Siren, and this is number 18, by the way, in Roman Numerals. For Group Two, then, we have The River, which is number 34, and then we have Group Three, The Tear, which is number 52. Feel free to pause and follow your heart. I’ll see you in the reading. 

GROUP ONE
Okay, Group Number One, welcome to your reading. You chose The Siren, and this card is about seduction and it can also indicate at times a lack of trust. I did notice when I pulled this card, it came out sort of upside down so it could show some of the shadow aspects of this quality, but The Siren overall, it’s a very hypnotic energy. So, someone could find you very hypnotic, someone could feel just very magnetized, almost like addicted to you is kind of the energy that I’m getting. And, when it comes to, “Why did they pull away?” that could be an energy that is a little bit hard to trust. It’s like “How do I keep my head on when I’m around this person? I almost feel like I’m losing myself or I almost feel like this person has so much power over me that I don’t exactly trust them.”

So, let’s go ahead and get into your Tarot Cards. Why did this person pull away? Okay, Three of Cups, wow, okay, if this applies to you, you would likely already know. So, the reason this person pulled away, if this is your group, is because of some third party who is with this Siren energy, and again, this came out kind of upside down. I’m seeing that someone might have used their seduction or used power that they had in a certain situation to kind of pull this person away. And yeah, Three of Cups can also indicate friendships. It can also indicate drinking, because it’s about those celebrations and partying. So, I think that this person kind of succumbed to pleasure, if that makes sense. Kind of let some maybe toxic habits and toxic addictions really play a role and get the best of them in this situation, especially when it comes to sensuality.

But, let’s go ahead and keep going. We have The Fool in reverse and this can indicate a lack of awareness and a lack of optimism as well. I’m seeing that this person kind of relies on maybe substances, with this Three of Cups, though I’m just seeing that they indulge. They indulge in sensual pleasures because it helps avoid the things that they don’t want to see about themselves, and it also leaves them to not have to have hope. I think that there is something in your connection that made them feel optimistic and hopeful, but that’s not an energy they’re used to being in. And so, they have a habit of kind of numbing themselves, it seems. 

We have the Three of Wands, reversed. I feel like this person’s very stuck on old habits. Interesting how we have mermaids on this card and it’s The Siren. I just noticed that. It seems like this person just has a hard time moving forward and expanding beyond their comfort zone and they’re also under the influence. So, under the influence, that could be interpreted in a lot of different ways, this person’s under the influence of maybe a seductive person. 

Let’s get a clarifier on this. What is this seductive person potentially, Six of Swords, The Devil and the Queen of Cups. Yeah, more of that mermaidy kind of energy. It’s almost like they were caught up with someone who definitely doesn’t want the best of the best for them. The Devil, again, is about addictions and bad habits and also our fears. And, with the Six of Swords, this person has a certain attachment style where when they shut things down like, succumb to their vices, it makes them feel safer because that’s their normal. It makes them feel clear headed. Whereas with this Queen of Cups energy being in their emotions makes them feel very unsafe, ungrounded, it’s foreign territory. They have not been met with unconditional love in their life before you, I feel. 

Yeah, Six of Cups, reversed, so they’re not used to innocence. I’m hearing the song “Too Sweet” by Hozier. Yeah, King of Swords, reversed. So, this is someone who wants their life to be a little difficult right now. They’re lacking clarity. I don’t think this person’s sober, if I’m being honest. Seven of Pentacles. And, it’s definitely going to take some time for this person to see what it is that really benefits them in their life. This person has to kind of go through it with hitting a certain kind of rock bottom a few times before they really learn what’s going to benefit them. They gave into the temptation of other connections because it’s The Devil they know, with the Six of Swords, The Devil they know. And so, with the King of Swords in reverse, they’re sabotaging themselves and they’re telling themselves that it’s logical to move the way that they’ve moved. So, I wouldn’t expect them to change their mind anytime soon. 

Let’s go ahead and get into some Oracles here. We have Patience, I Accept That Everything Happens In The Divine Order. So, some of the Pentacles are about Patience as well. I mean, I suppose you could wait for this person if you really want to, but I do feel like it would require a lot of Patience on your part. 

Discipline, I Can Accomplish What I Set My Mind To. So, this person, they are going to hit sort of a wall where they’re like, “Wow, I actually feel horrible now. I cannot further harm myself.” 

Okay, we have Doubt, I Release A Need To Know All the Answers. So, be careful, my loves, about a tendency to dig too deep into what this person’s doing. 

Surrender, I Can Release My Need To Control. I feel like that goes with this message as well. It’s like in digging, in trying to get more information, you might end up hurting your own feelings. Don’t think that you can control this situation. You absolutely can move forward if that’s something that you want to do. But, with this Patience card, this is going to be a situation, if you really want this person, it’s going to take a lot of time. So, just buckle in and prepare yourself for that and be honest and realistic with yourself about where this person is at. 

Okay, let’s go ahead and get some Channeled Messages. Okay, Respect My Time. It’s like you are not going to waste time waiting for this person. They need more time to figure themselves out and kind of reckon with some of the things that they are, things that they are thinking and justifying at this time. 

New Person, so yeah, this makes me feel like they went after someone new because again, it feels more comfortable. And, I know that’s counterintuitive because it’s like you spent time emotionally bonding with this person, so it’s like, “You should be more comfortable with me,” but that’s your territory.

Payback. So, you could be thinking about revenge at this time. This person wasted your time, and so it makes a lot of sense for you to be angry and things like that. But, I want to say you do not need to get revenge on this person, if anything, be Patient because karma takes care of everything itself. You know what I mean? 

I’m Only Sorry I Got Caught. So yeah, this person lacks, they definitely lack the depths that you have and that’s where you’re being asked to surrender, it is kind of accepting this person for where they’re at. 

We have Health Concerns, so that could be something they’re struggling with. 

Your Interests Fascinate Me, so I want to say you’re very different from anybody else that they’ve known. They developed an affection and admiration for you. And, because they see themselves as inherently flawed, with this Devil card, they see themselves as bad, so they almost sabotage your connection. And, if there was cheating involved with this Three of Cups, that is a big reason why and went after a new person that they could kind of stay surface level with. 

Let’s go ahead and end some Moonology Oracle Cards. We have, What Do You Need To Release? Yeah, I do think it’s time to release this person. 

Take Time To Breathe Out. And again, if you are going to wait at all for this person, it’s definitely necessary for you to take that time and give them that kind of grace, if that makes sense. 

Your Hard Work Is Paying Off, New Moon in Capricorn. So, I do think that your energy is best spent in other areas and you are going to receive blessings by closing the cycle out. You are going to receive something greater for surrendering this. You’re going to feel lighter by releasing this karmic attachment you have to this person.

Hello, hello, Group Number Two, thank you so much for being here. You chose The River number 34 and this is a beautiful card all about grace and forgiveness and change. If you chose this card, you’re likely having a lot of acceptance, more so than maybe other groups, about this person who has pulled away or distanced themselves from you.

Let’s go ahead and start with the actual topic, which is, Why Did This Person Pull Away? We have The Magician, we have the Two of Pentacles reversed, and we have the Knight of Pentacles. Top of the deck is the King of Pentacles reversed, and the bottom of the deck is the Three of Swords. 

So, I want to say this situation might have left you heartbroken. If this is your group, you are trying to manifest something really solid and stable and it seems like it just has not come to fruition. And, the reason for that was because this person, no matter how beautiful you felt they were, how beautiful you felt your connection was, this person would have gotten in the way of your actual divine plan. And, this is something that Spirit could see that you couldn’t necessarily see. 

And, I’m sorry, this deck is still out. With this Two of Pentacles in reverse, I’m really seeing that something had to be dropped, it’s like your two separate timelines of what you truly desired in your heart, what you’ve been trying to manifest in your heart, and what you were seeing in your reality, they just didn’t line up. Their feelings could have flipped almost on a dime. This person might have literally been pushed by the divine to suddenly lose interest or to suddenly switch directions. Maybe some of you are feeling mad at Spirit, feeling tricked a little bit. Also, getting that this person, they could have said that they were juggling a lot, especially with work and things like that, and that they saw a long-term future with you. But, when it comes to their priorities, they were just feeling out of balance. 

Okay, let’s get into our Oracle cards. We have Patience, I Accept That Everything Happens In The Divine Order and this card came out with group number one as well.

Let’s see what else, we have Envy, oops, sorry, there’s some sticky stuff on this, oh it’s pencil lead. Envy, I’m The Same As Everybody, But With Different Challenges. 100%. So, you could feel envious of people who are in love right now, who are in a sacred union right now. 

We also have this card that wanted to fall on the floor, Growth, I Want To Expand My Consciousness And My Awareness. So, trust that you are growing in the right direction, especially with this River message, and that Siren, huge confirmation, as well. There’s Growth happening here that’s going to be astronomical and you are going to build with this Knight of Pentacles, something that lasts for the long term.

Don’t Compare Your Journey To Others, especially with this Envy message. And, we have Judgment, I Understand That Everyone Has Their Own Unique Path And Challenges. So, exactly, you might be looking at other people and thinking, “Why do they get to have their time and why is it that they’re getting married or they’re having children or they’re super happy together?” Trust that not everything is what you see on the surface, especially on social media and things like that. But, with this Magician, you’re being given a chance to kind of get your vibe so that you can start manifesting again because your path is your path for a reason and Spirit knows what’s in your heart. 

Top of the deck, Perseverance, I Know That I Can Do Whatever I Set My Mind To. If you want a happy, healthy relationship, I’m here to tell you you’re going to be empowered in that direction. The sooner you’re able to kind of surrender to the Divine Grace in the situation and kind of stop judging yourself for maybe how things didn’t work out or how other people have it better, or even comparing yourself to other people. If you see this person move on and date other people, have patience and trust that it all happens for a reason and that every turn in the River is leading to the ocean, the greater ocean of love that you are aligning with. 

Okay, so let’s go ahead and get into some Channeled Messages as well. Okay, we have Red Flags, so yeah, I also think this person exhibited Red Flags that maybe you didn’t see.

Payback, this person could have had more of a vengeful spirit. They could also worry about you getting Payback. 

We have Words Of Affirmation, Caught Red Handed. So yeah, there’s something off about this situation where I think Spirit may have caught them in something and you were not aware of it, so trust that rejection is divine protection, okay? Trust that Spirit just knows so much better than us, okay, they see all, they see so many things that we can’t see. And so, when we are trying to judge the situation from our lens, often we are kind of hurting our own selves and breaking our own hearts over a situation that maybe isn’t as real as we think. 

More please, Spirit, thank you. I’m Considering A Marriage With You. Top of the deck, I See The Potential In Our Connection. Bottom of the deck, Protection. So exactly, this is what’s being protected, this is what’s being protected, is someone who really considers a marriage with you, someone who really sees the potential in your connection, someone who is reminded of you in all of the little things, the music that they hear in the grocery store, the books they see around town, the signs and synchronicities, that Spirit brings them through their daily experience, but also through their dreams. You’re going to have a really, wow, look at this, Nobody Compares To You, Devoted. This is what’s being protected. So, I would say a firm like I’m saving myself for my true love, it’s going to be something that develops because you recognize that this other person who’s pulled away, it is out of protection for what’s really, really meant for you.

Hello, hello, Group Number Three. So, I had to get a new candle for you, out of fire safety. And, this candle says, Love Never Fails, Psalm 46.10. So, that could be relevant to you or you might want to look into that Psalm, but I could not get this second wick to light and that’s why it looks jacked up, and I do practice candle divination, I pay attention to how the candles behave during my readings and use that as extra confirmation of certain messages I’m receiving. And, then we have The Tear here, which is quite an intense energy in this card that you chose. So, I am seeing that there’s a lot of heartache in this situation, a lot of letting go, a lot of release, and it’s highly, highly emotional. I wouldn’t be surprised if this Eclipse season and this most recent Full Moon we had just really took it out of you. You could be just going through it right now emotionally, and you could be feeling like you’re just out of control and sobbing uncontrollably, and that’s kind of the energy that I’m getting. And so, I just want to say thank you so much for being here, my love. And, we’re going to go ahead and get to the bottom of, Why Is It That This Person Pulled Away? 

Okay, we have the Knight of Pentacles, reversed. We have the Four of Wands, reversed. So, this could be within a marriage that you’re experiencing this. We have the Queen of Cups in reverse. The Hermit, reversed on top of the deck and the bottom of the deck is a Ten of Wands. So, I want to say part of why this person pulled away is because one, they need space. They’re either avoiding some sort of self-reflection. It’s interesting how these two cards are also facing away from each other. It seems like there’s a lot of unspoken feelings and unspoken truths here, and a lot of lack of awareness of the self in this other person you’re asking about as well. They could be going through a bit of a depression where they are numbing themselves to certain feelings. 

Oh, okay, Ace of Wands, the energy I’m getting more so is one of a quarter life crisis or midlife crisis. If you’re married, maybe more of a midlife crisis is probably more common for most of you in this scenario. But, it’s like someone who’s not speaking to you because they are feeling really insecure within themselves and kind of asking themselves the big questions, “Why am I here? What am I supposed to be doing? What have I done with my life?” This person, you could have built a marriage together with this Four of Wands in reverse, but now this person’s kind of questioning, ”Why is my life this way?” And, it seems like they’re searching for spiritual meaning, but don’t know that, they don’t necessarily have the awareness of that with the Knight of Pentacles in reverse. It could be because of a focus on the material, especially if this person’s insecure about their job or insecure about the amount of money that they’ve made, they’re just really questioning why things have turned out the way that they have.

I’m also getting that for a lot of you, you are the more sensitive one and part of why this marriage seems to be not working out, because with the Ten of Wands in reverse, you are learning how to unburden yourself, especially of other people’s healing. The Queen of Cups in reverse, I always see her as kind of an enabler on accident. So many of us in this community, we are very gifted, very in tune, very loving, very emotionally aware of other people’s needs, but that’s not always our responsibility, you know what I mean? And, sometimes we put ourselves in harm’s way because we want to take emotional responsibility for people who are not in touch with their emotions. And, sometimes that’s not even what they really need. But, this is a big chance for you to become unburdened and for you to recognize where your responsibility lies and where it doesn’t.

It’s also going to be very cathartic, emotionally healing for you. And, with this Four of Wands in reverse, I’m hearing, Ships In The Night. I’m also thinking of the therapist on YouTube, Patrick Teahan, so you might want to look into Patrick Teahan’s videos. He talks about family dynamics and Ships In The Night is a family dynamic in which people come into the home and kind of do their own thing, don’t really speak to each other, and there’s just not a lot of communication here. If that was your childhood experience where you lived in a home where people didn’t really communicate, everyone kind of did their own thing and you felt neglected emotionally because you were the sensitive one, there’s trauma there that needs to be worked through, 100%. And, it’s going to help you to release that baggage a lot so that you don’t have to take this person’s actions personally as well because it just seems like they’re really questioning themselves, their path so far, what they’ve built so far, a lack of inspiration with this Ace of Wands, that’s what they’re looking for, I do feel, like inspiration is going to come to them, And, this is like the beginning of a deeper journey for them, but I don’t see a lot of awareness here of it. 

And so, as you’re crying, as you’re grieving, processing what could have been or what you think should be within this relationship, I’m seeing you really just shed a lot and crying really cleanses the heart space. So, don’t judge yourself for crying over the situation. Don’t feel like, “Oh, I need to get over this faster.” Sit with your feelings and eventually you’re going to get tired of crying over the situation. And, I know that might sound kind of negative or cynical, but it’s true. Sometimes we need to cry, cry, cry, especially as a hypersensitive person myself, I get it. 

Okay, Discipline, I Can Accomplish What I Set My Mind To. So, this is about your healing journey. You might recognize, ”Oh, I have this trauma to work through and wow, I’ve repeated this childhood wounding in my relationships.” And, could kind of realize, “Wow, I have so much work to do. I thought I was so unconditionally loving and so ready to just give my heart. And now I’m recognizing, oh, I’ve played a part in enabling this person. Or maybe I have been overly emotional in a time in which practicality would’ve been better for my relationship. Dah, dah, dah.” All these things you’re actually going to recognize you have a lot of work to do, but that’s the journey and you can make progress in these areas. You’re going to kind of be boosted when it comes to self-belief by going through this experience. So, don’t beat yourself up, okay? 

Let’s see what else comes through. We have Health, I Will Honor The Physical Vessel That Enshrines My Soul. So, yeah, once you get tired of the crying, the purging, the release of all the emotions, you are going to just get very grounded. It could be working out that really helps you alchemize this energy. And, that could be that Discipline message too, where it’s like taking care of your physical body is going to be so important and so healing for you. 

We have, Patience, I Accept That Everything Happens In Divine Order. Every single group today got this card, so I’m seeing that on a collective level, we are exercising more Patience and we are releasing our expectations when it comes to time. Things working out in a certain time or things happening at a certain time. If you have a certain idea of, “Oh, I was supposed to be X, Y, and Z by this age, I shouldn’t be starting over, I should be happily married. We should have had more kids by now. We should have had more homes by now. We should have been doing this and that and that and the third,” that’s all fake, you know what I mean? That’s all, not to say that it doesn’t matter, but it’s a construct and you’re going to realize that everything has happened the way that it needs to. 

Worry, I’m Learning That Worry Doesn’t Change An Outcome. So yeah, I feel like you’re really going to be taken care of.

Loneliness, I Know That I’m Never Alone. I also want to say Spirit’s calling you closer. This painful experience, Spirit’s calling you closer. 

Denial, I Acknowledge My Fear, But I Replace It With The Insight Of Awareness. So, 100%, it looks scary to see your marriage or see someone you’re so close to pull back, but I think you’re going to realize how you’ve both played a role in this dynamic. A lot of you are going to be able to save this marriage. 

Let’s go ahead and get some Channeled Messages, Channeled Messages for my Group Number Three. I’m Only Sorry I Got Caught. Okay, so for those of you who have been dealing with adultery in your connection, I’m also getting something about finances. Lying about finances, so don’t tolerate financial manipulation, okay? That’s a big thing here, and I think that for some of you, I’m getting two groups, some of you do feel interested in saving this marriage and some of you, you’ve endured too much where Spirit wants you to learn what should be tolerated and what shouldn’t. 

I Avoid Thinking About You Because Of My Guilt. So this person, if you caught them in something, that is a big reason why they’re not engaging with you, especially if their actions were directly conflicting the plans you set with this Knight of Coins, the way you guys were building together, it’s like their behaviors or their actions directly conflicted that. And so, now this person kind of avoids interacting with you even if you live in the same home. 

Okay, let’s see what else comes through, Spirit. Okay, I am going to take these two. We have, A Good Morning, I See You Everywhere. So, I do think that this person might kind of try to ease things by saying hello, or you could just have a hello, goodbye relationship. 

New Person, for some of you, you’re going to be moving on. But I also feel like you could have caught this person texting a different person, but instead of wishing that they would choose you, instead you are going to recognize your options when it comes to new connections. 

And, with this, I See You Everywhere, it’s like no matter how much this person tries to avoid thinking about you, Spirit’s not going to let them forget and it’s going to kind of eat away at them until they acknowledge what’s up. 

Yeah, okay, bottom of the deck we have, I Avoid Thinking About You Because I’m Hurt. So, you’re both avoiding thinking about each other. You’re avoiding thinking about them because it hurts your feelings, but I think you can’t help it.
