Hey there friends, welcome to your Monthly Forecast Reading for the month of April, 2024. We are heading into a lovely fresh start. Something in many people’s cycles has come to an end and it’s now time to step into the unknown, this is a very exciting time. For others, it can be a little bit nerve wracking, but I can guarantee you there are some really good things coming. So, I’m excited for you to take a look at the reading for today. You can grab a reading with me down below and also check out what else I’m up to. So, it’s always nice to connect with you and I hope you enjoy the reading. Take good care

Wherever you happen to be right now, give yourself a moment to take a few deep breaths. Allow your attention to come down into your body and notice what you’re feeling in this moment. You might bring your awareness into your heart space and bring your attention to something that makes you smile, something you’re grateful for. Alright, call out to Mother, Father, God, the Denizens of Light, the Deep Ones, the Rooted Ones, call out to the Grandmothers and the Grandfathers of the North, the South, the East and the West, please be with us now. Bring forward a clear message and the energy that is needed at this time for each person witnessing this.

Alright so, we’re looking at our monthly forecast for the month of April, and as usual, you will choose one of the cards above using your intuition. So, give yourself a moment just to look at each of these cards, look at each of the options here and see if one of them is calling to you. Trust your gut and once you’ve decided, you can skip ahead to the reading that is specific to you. 

CARD NUMBER ONE
So, we’ll start with our first option, card number one. So, for those of you that chose card number one, I’m just going to tune in with those of you that choose card number one. Let’s take a look. The first card is the overall Situation for the month of April. This can have to do with what it is that you’re learning right now, what you’re growing through, and maybe some of the themes that are already in your life or are going to be in your life for the month of April. The second card is the Obstacle card. It is that reciprocal force, reciprocal force that pushes against us and encourages us to grow. This can sometimes be frustrating. These can be situations that we’re learning from. And then, our final card is going to be the Outcome, which is the culmination of what it is that you’re learning throughout this month, what you can expect by the end of it, and maybe some of what it is that you’ll be stepping into with the coming month. And, up above we have our advice card. So, let’s take a look at our first card.

So, the Situation, for the Situation card that’s showing up for the month of April, for those of you that chose this first card is The Fool card. This is such a wonderful card. It is that fresh new beginning, stepping forward into the unknown. You can see that our lovely Fool here is uplifted. He’s looking out above the horizon, the sun is shining down on him, there’s the playfulness of the puppy and he’s getting ready to step off a cliff. And, some of what the mythos of that is is that there is such an abundance of possibility when we are stepping into the unknown. He doesn’t even recognize that he would fall or he might just walk right across it. The possibilities and potentials are endless. So, this tends to show up when we’ve made a big turning point in our life. Something has maybe fallen away or come to a finish, or you are turning towards the new possibilities in your life fully. You finally decided, “You know what? I’m not walking with this particular pattern anymore, or I am walking away from this particular relationship, or I am stepping into a new career.” This can also be a new phase in relationship, a new phase in career. There could be a new person that’s coming into your life one way or another. There’s a freshness here. Now we don’t know where the adventure is going to take you, but all this abundant energy is very exciting.

Let’s take a look at what the Obstacle is going to be for the month of April. Okay, so this Seven of Swords actually, interestingly enough, goes pretty well with The Fool card because The Fool card is also prone to be a little bit naive. In other words, they’re so excited about life, they’re so optimistic, they’re so curious about what it is that’s showing up that sometimes they don’t see where there is some deception, either deception in themselves. Sometimes people stay in the positive or stay in the kind of aloof state as a way of not really dealing with what’s underneath the surface. Toxic positivity is sort of a pop term that’s showed up recently, and that’s where people, they’re disassociating from the more challenging parts of themselves and of life by just saying, “Oh, well it’s going to work out, it’s going to be fine.” And, that’s an okay attitude to hold, but you want to stay vigilant.

So, particularly through the month of April, it’s a good time, even if you’re feeling excited and fresh and new about things, it’s a really good time to also be making sure that you’re dotting your I’s and crossing your T’s, staying grounded in yourself. I’ve got this interesting sense that there could be somebody that’s already in your life that you feel a little bit unsure about. So, I would say that for the month of April, if there are people that you feel like, “You know what? I don’t fully trust this person.” Not to necessarily kick them out of your life, but just to stay really solid and grounded in yourself, not overly give or overly share with this person and just keep with your wits about you. 

Let’s take a look at what the Outcome card is for the month of April, Outcome card, Queen of Cups, deep emotional intelligence, deep sense of self care, compassion for others. You could be moving into a situation as a result of this big opening that you’re stepping into. You could be moving into a place where you feel like you just love the world, you love those around you, you want to care for the people that are in your life. This is also a sign of somebody that has taken very good care of themselves. It’s possible that you are in a transition right now from a mental world, a world of overly thinking about things, to beginning to court your own emotional instincts, your own emotional navigation system, and starting to trust your deeper feelings. This is also a card of deep relational connection. So, something also about this Fool card is the willingness to let go of the ground beneath you so that you can actually start to open yourself, excuse me, so that you can start to open yourself to deeper relating. Lots of people have walls and boundaries that they put up, and it’s only through letting go of the comfort of those boundaries that something deeper and more fulfilling can come in. This is what we want to be wary of though. These can be the ways that we’re tricking ourselves. These are the ways that other people can be tricking us. And, that’s exactly the reason that we tend to have walls up, is that we’ve been hurt in the past. But, the more that you’ve grown, the more that you’ve developed, you can stay open and stay grounded at the same time. 

Let’s take a look at your Advice card for the month of April, ooh, Seven of Cups. So, this works really well here, right? We’ve got our two Sevens. There are two sides to this particular advice thing, which is you have lots of options. You’re stepping into brand new territory, really interesting new things, so your options are really wide open. It’s also a warning to not get fooled by the lesser desires, the great power, great wealth, massive success. This one’s like addiction, but also power. This is more like high knowledge. These things here, these are the types of things that people tend to get hooked by. The snake oil salesman online will say, if you buy this, your entire life will change, or all you need to do is enter this particular program and then everything will change because you’ll make millions of dollars or you’ll be so successful, everybody will see you, or you’ll be so powerful, so strong, so charismatic, or you’ll understand everything. Rather, reach for the higher insights, the higher wisdom. So, just to bring it down to the ground, some of the trickery that comes in could come in ways that says, “Hey, there’s a shortcut to the kind of happiness you want. There’s a shortcut to the kind of dreams that you’re trying to create.” And, it’s better to go, “You know what? I trust that if I keep following what’s really in integrity and ethical and true, I’m going to find my way to deeper connection and intimacy.

CARD NUMBER TWO
Alright, so we will now move to those of you that chose the second card. Those of you that chose the second card, this will be your monthly forecast reading for the month of April. So, I’m just going to tune in with those of you that choose this card. All right, first card is the Situation card, the general theme of the reading. This will give you a bit of information about what it is that you’re learning or growing through in the month of April. The second card will be the Obstacle card, which is the reciprocal energy that’s pushing against that learning process, making you stronger and helping you grow into the person that you’re wanting to become. And, the third card is the Outcome card, which is the basic overall Outcome that you’ll be seeing by the end of the month, and it may be some of the information of what you’ll be stepping into next. And, up above we’ve got our Advice card. So, let’s take a look at our Situation card for the month of April. So, this is so interesting because the first card for the people that chose the first card got The Fool card as well, so this must be a theme for all of us.

It’s not terribly surprising considering all the astrological hubbub that’s happening here at the end of March. Something is allowing us to step into something fresh, new, exciting. Maybe it could be a bit overwhelming as well. The Fool card is that in between, between one chapter’s end and the next chapter’s beginning there is infinite potential. This is a state of not knowing or stepping into the unknown. For some people this is very exciting. They’re very good at the in-between phase, the phase where potential is sort of burgeoning. For others, this can be really overwhelming, “I don’t know what’s going to happen next. What am I going to do? How can I plan when I don’t know what’s going on?” So, you might touch in with yourself and ask, ”How do I feel when I’m stepping into the complete unknown? Do I feel excited? Do I feel like running away? Do I feel unsettled?” Sort of notice this piece because there is some serious fresh new energy that is coming into your world. And I, for one, am very excited about it, but I understand how it can be a little bit nerve wracking sometimes. I tend to encourage my one-on-one clients in the coaching work that I do, the somatic and integral awakening coaching that I do, I encourage them to sit with the unknown on a regular basis. Rest in a place where you go, “Okay, I don’t know what’s going to happen.” And, just allow yourself to begin to acclimate to that sense of the unknown, both the exciting potential and the sort of groundlessness of it that can be there. 

So, let’s take a look at your second card. Obviously this month is going to be a big fresh start for a lot of people. Let’s take a look at what might be getting in the way. One of my absolute favorite cards is The Empress, and this is a representation of the divine feminine. And, specifically in this quality, it’s a very earthy feminine. It’s a feminine that is connected with the natural cycles of the earth, with the sensuous, with the wild patterns of nature. And, this particular card, the way that it’s showing up for you here in an Obstacle position can be a sign that things feel a little bit wild. They might feel a little bit, they might feel a little bit chaotic. They might feel a little bit unplanned or unprepared. There’s not enough containment for what it is that’s changing and shifting and churning. And, the answer to this particular type of Obstacle is to get grounded and to stay a little bit flexible, a little bit dynamic, going into a trusting process, because something is being born. The Empress is considered to be in her first trimester of pregnancy, and this is obviously also a card of pregnancy between chapters. Something new is coming, we don’t know exactly what it is. And so, it’s a time to be really taking good care of yourself, journaling, being curious about what your hopes and fears are, giving yourself a lot of room to move slow, take your time, see what it is that’s starting to come. I also would say listening to inspiration, listening to what are the creative sparks that sort of light up for you, and being willing to follow those a little bit. There can be a bit of disorder, so creating some good structure in your life can be helpful as long as it’s not overly structured because there’s something that’s alive and moving for you in this month. As it starts to take shape, you don’t want to smother it with, I’m doing this and then I’m doing this, and then I’m doing this because you want some room for that creative impulse to be able to move in your life. 

Let’s take a look at your Outcome card for the month of April, Outcome card is our Nine of Cups. So, whatever it is that might feel maybe a little bit uncertain here, fresh and new maybe exciting, but uncertain and what could be feeling a bit chaotic or ungrounded, maybe a bit wild or not structured enough, you’re going to come to a place where things start to line up. Just like the cups behind our Nine of Cups here, there is a good sense of contentment that you’re going to be able to start feeling that things are getting balanced. You can see he’s sitting in a very balanced way. This is a sign that whatever it is that’s sort of in the process of taking formation is going to feel really good when it starts to land. You’re going to start feeling like, “This is where I need to be. This is where I’ve wanted to be. In fact, I’m starting to walk my dreams. My life is taking form in the way that I really want it to.” So, the Nine of Cups is a really good sign as you’re stepping into the month that follows. 

Let’s take a look at what your Advice card is for the month of April, wow. So, we’ve got some really powerful cards here. The three major arcana, The Fool, The Empress, and The World cards. This is such a powerful pivot that your life is going through right now. And, some of the Advice of The World card is encouraging you to look at what it is that’s finished? What is it that you have stepped through and you’re now making your way into something new? So, you might take a little bit of time to reflect on that and take a look at that. And then also, what is your end goal? What are the things that make you feel fulfilled and content and you’re really living the life that you’re meant to be living? Put some focus on those. I will always also say, because The World card can sometimes be an indication of deeper meditation or enlightenment, the deep spiritual and earthly fulfillment is represented in this card. What is it that brings you that kind of fulfillment? What is it that helps you feel alive and aligned, really point some attention in that direction.

CARD NUMBER THREE
Alright, and we’re going to move on to our final reading here. Excuse me while I refresh our deck. So, for those of you that chose the final card, this will be your reading for the month of April. I am just going to tune in with those of you that choose the third card for a moment here. All right, let’s take a look here. First card is your basic Situation for the month of April. That’ll give you an overall sense of what it is that you’ll be working on and growing through in the month ahead. Second card is the Obstacle, which is the reciprocal energy that pushes against that growth process, helping you to grow and change and become stronger as a result. And, the final card is the Outcome card, which will give you an overall sense of what it is that you’re coming away with at the end of the month and maybe some of the information about what you’ll be stepping into next. And, up above we have our Advice card. So, let’s take a look at our Situation card for the month of April. 

So, the Situation card is our lovely Wheel of Fortune, and I like to think of this as the tectonic plates of our karmic world are starting to shift. You can see there’s this gigantic Wheel that is turning, the Wheel of our lives, the Wheel that goes up and down with fate. And, something big is shifting, being that this is a Major Arcana card. And, I’ll just say for those of you that didn’t watch the first two readings, something big is shifting for everyone as we’re stepping into April. Generally, the Wheel of Fortune is a good sign, it tends to indicate that there are big blessings heading your way. Something has changed. This is the card right at the center of the Major Arcana. So, you are somewhere in the mid place of a very important change that is a part of a larger storyline of your life. Something’s changing, something’s shifting. Now, with this type of Major Arcana and specifically the Wheel of Fortune, you can, excuse me, you can expect the changes to happen with a little bit more of a gradual pace. This isn’t like tomorrow you wake up and you move to Bali, this is something very deep and foundational is starting to shift in your life and in your world, and it’s shifting towards the better. 

Let’s look at our Obstacle card, which might give us a bit more of a sense of what it is that’s changing in your world. So, this is interesting, our Queen of Pentacles. So, a couple of things come to mind, and it’s really interesting, there’s an element of pregnancy that I’m getting right from the get go. So, for some of you, it’s quite possible that you are pregnant or you are going to get pregnant in the month of April. For those of you that that’s not going to happen, this is a card of work-life balance, feeling more grounded in yourself, feeling like you’re more connected to the natural rhythms of life and yourself. This is also part of great success, but great success that’s balanced with self nurturance, relationship nurturance, something is really coming to a healthy place in both your financial life and in your relationship life. You might also experience a bit more vitality than normal. You could be feeling healthier, more excited about life, but in a much more grounded way. You’re willing to take your time, you’re willing to see things through because there’s no longer a rush. Things are shifting and changing, but they’re happening at a healthy pace. 

Let’s take a look at your Outcome card for the month of April, okay, a little bit spooky here. So, Five of Swords is your Outcome card. Whatever is shifting, whatever is in the process of taking form that’s allowing you to step into a greater balanced place. It might scuff some people in the wrong way. You might end up finding yourself in a little bit of conflict, situations that maybe feel unfair or uncomfortable. You could be on the giving end of something that’s unfair, or you could be on the receiving end of something that feels unfair. Now, this is really natural. So, when there’s a big karmic shift that somebody is going through in their life, as that shift is happening, old things need to be brought to the surface, processed and let go of. Sometimes, it can be a little bit of a pain in the butt because you’re like, “Ah, things are going so well. I’m really stepping into this.” Well, this is a necessary function and it’s not something that you need to escape or try to get away from. Rather, use your new groundedness, use these new energies that are coming in. Use your new wisdom to navigate the situation with integrity and with love, even if it means that you have to be a little bit ferocious, even if it means you need to set boundaries, do so with clarity, do so with this new beauty that’s shifting into your life right now. 

Let’s take a look at what your Advice card is for this month. Yeah, so this all clicks together pretty well. So, I love the Judgment card. I think it’s just a really powerful card. It speaks to a calling. It speaks to being called into a new phase in your life. It speaks to listening more deeply to the wisdom of your soul and following it, which fits so deeply with these two. And, the Judgment card also tends to come with a bit of a test. Are you really ready to step into this new phase? Are you really ready to walk into a more balanced, more abundant place? And, that test is the type of thing that says, “Okay, am I going to let this pull me back down into old cycles and old patterns of ways that I’ve done things in the past? Or, am I going to meet this from a fresh place? Am I going to meet this from the future of who I am becoming?”

This is a good indication to do a little bit of a life analysis. Go back over the last 10 years of your life, what’s happened in the last 10 years? What’s happened in the last five years? What about the last 12 months? What are some of the things that are still clinking around in the old regret bank? Or, what are some of the things that you’re really excited about? Do a little bit of a life analysis, which will help sort of gird your loins for the bit of a test that might be coming. Alright, so for those of you that chose the third card, this is your reading for the month of March.
