A Well Deserved Reward | Weekly Tarot Reading | 8/14 – 8/20

Hello Tarot Family,  Do you need to speak up about something in your life?  Your reading this week has clear indications you deserve respect or recognition for something, and you haven’t gotten it yet.  Get ready, because there is good news, good connections, and important conversations headed your way. Which could push you towards getting what you deserve.  The best part is you are likely to knock all the important issues out of the park. Of course you’re going to need to show up with integrity and clarity.  But the other side of these minor challenges is a big reward. You are headed for something new and exciting… So let’s not waste time and get right into it.

Card #1: Knight Of Cups | An Important Connection

The Knight of Cups represents grace, adaptiveness, and charm. Unlike the other Knights of the Tarot deck, he rides slowly and comfortably. He is at peace with life and does not desire conflict.  The Knight of Cups feels deeply. He is attracted to the beauty around him and has refined taste.  With this as your first card, you could experience flowing creativity and romantic inspiration this week.  You are tapping into your more sensitive side, and may have vivid dreams in the days ahead.   Because this knight’s horse is moving slowly, he can change direction on a dime.  The Knight of Cups’ watery nature supports an adaptive, fluid style. You could feel easy going and able to tackle whatever arrives in the coming days.  The Knight is holding his cup as if he aims to give it to someone. You could receive a message this week that touches your emotions and brings you happiness.  Something of importance is on its way into your life.  This could be a romantic proposal, a new business connection, or an acquaintance that could blossom into friendship.  Regardless of how it shows up for you, a blessing is coming into your life.  So be open to new connections, interesting conversations, and romantic gestures in the coming days.  The Knight of Cups is a fantastic mediator and listener.  If someone comes to you this week with a heavy burden on their shoulders, this is a good time to listen and support them.  Try to look at any issues that come up from a different perspective and be willing to go with your heart, rather than your head on decisions this week.  Your next card is a sign you are being asked to bring your wisdom and integrity to the table.  Complicated situations or challenging encounters can be met with grace and skill in the coming days.

Rather, she has learned that compassion, patience, and self-confidence can get her much further. Following the Chariot card, which is about warrior energy and will power, the Strength card brings self-knowing and wisdom to the challenges of life. You could be in a situation where you have to keep your integrity in the face of opposition. This could be an unfair power dynamic, or even a toxic situation that feels unsafe. The Strength card is a sign you should take the higher path. Be patient, listen, but don’t collapse or give in. If you know you are right, stick to what is true and continue forward. With your previous card, the Knight of Cups, it’s possible you’ll need to be persuasive in your argument in order to get what you want. The Ace of Pentacles symbolizes prosperity, security, and new beginnings. You could plant a seed this week that will grow into a fantastic long term success. The Ace of Pentacles is filled with raw potential. You might strike a new deal that increases your salary, meet someone who has a brilliant business plan, or get the support you need to start your own project. The excitement around this new potential could crackle like lightning. The Ace of Pentacles is all about possibility, so use the raw energy of this fresh start to boost yourself in the direction you want to go. With the energy of the Strength card, it’s important you don’t compromise yourself in a major way in order to get what you want. Be patient and direct about what you want… And be open to other perspectives, but don’t do something unless it feels right to you. You CAN have your cake and eat it too, you’ll just have to be compassionate and clear, patient and honest.
