Hello, my friends at Cosmic Updates. It is Deco, back again for a weekly reading, this time for the week of September 17th through the 23rd. Cody is here to join us apparently today. Again, I have been loving doing these Celtic crosses for you guys, so I would like to do another one if that’s all right with you. Would love your feedback on these too. I just feel like it’s so interesting to see how everything is playing out for us. So let’s go ahead and pull some cards to see what we need to know this week. All right, we’ll put that in the challenge. Let’s see. Okay, my friends.

So let’s see here. Okay, so right away we’ve got the King of Wands in reverse in the challenge, which is telling me that you’re feeling a little bit out of touch with just who you are this week. Struggling a little bit with knowing what your passions are, what you have available to you, even who you are. Who you really want to be. But the heart of the matter is you’re really focusing on finding balance with your relationships. Maybe at work, maybe your relationship with your body in general or maybe there’s a relationship with money that you need to focus on. Maybe there’s even a health or a family matter that needs to have more balance in it, and I think that that’s your focus. And so maybe your own personal goals and your own focuses are a little bit put on the back burner so you can focus more on getting along with the people around you. And that’s that Six of Pentacles in the heart of the matter, by the way.

Now, in the past we have The Empress in reverse, which is telling me that you weren’t taking care of yourself in the past. You were focused on just being in the space that you were in, but not necessarily making sure that that space was a space of growth and of nurture of yourself. There isn’t any new beginnings when The Empress is in reverse. It’s like you’re really stagnant, struggling to move forward, and maybe that’s part of why you’re a little bit out of touch. But I think the fact that your goal is balanced right now is going to lead to bigger, better things. We’ve got the Queen of Pentacles here in the future, and the Queen of Pentacles is someone who is very thoughtful about the things around them and the people around them.

Because the Pentacles are all about your body, your stuff, your family, your money, your job, all of those things. So it’s like those things that you might be struggling with a little bit, I feel like are going to become a little bit easier for you to manage and handle and be cognizant of because we’ve got this Queen of Pentacles in the future. This is where we’re moving, where our goals are, to make sure that we are grounded and balanced in those areas. Now, deep down, I don’t think you feel like that’s going to happen for you, but I do think that you have the potential of stepping up for yourself in a way that you haven’t thus far. The Ace of Pentacles, when it’s in reverse, specifically in the unconscious, it’s like you believe that you can’t start fresh, that there’s no way to start over or to do more for yourself or to really have that fresh start where you’re able to invest yourself fully to see this thing through.

Now, The Sun is in reverse in the conscious, which is telling me that while you know that there is the potential for good things in the future, you don’t see where that’s going to happen. You don’t see that it’s going to happen in the fairly soon or near future, and I think that you need to remember that lightness comes even through the darkest chapters. After the darkest night still comes the sun. And so I think we just need to remember that the lightness is coming, even though we’re going through a hard time. So just keep that in mind that there is so much potential for the future, there’s so much potential for change in your own life and you just have to claim that energy and again, find that balance that you’ve been missing, whatever that happens to be.

Remember, Pentacles are not just about money. Because the Pentacles are coins. They’re also about those tangible things that you’re coming into contact with on a regular basis. Now, here’s what’s interesting. The Four of Pentacles is in the querent. So the Four of Pentacles is really stingy and greedy, and I can say that they’re stingy and greedy with their resources. Because again, the Four of Pentacles is not just about your money. Maybe you’re saving money, but maybe you’re hoarding your energy. Maybe you’re hoarding your time, maybe you’re not allowing your people that you’re closest to really get out and experience the world. That could be your family, your kids or maybe your parents or your siblings, whatever. But there’s something to be said here about you maybe needing to let go a little bit because the Four of Pentacles is about being frugal, but it’s also about a fear of poverty or a fear of lack.

So you might be holding onto those things because you’re afraid that you’re going to lose them. Now, the environment backs that up. The Two of Swords is all about having fear or an uncertainty about the future and being uncertain about how to move forward into a new chapter, partially because there’s a fear of losing something. We already know that there’s this fear that we’re going to be impoverished in some way and so we’re scared to move forward, we’re struggling to move forward and that’s what the environment looks like. But I think part of that is, again, that out of touch energy that you’re in as you’re trying to find balance in your life. So maybe it’s just about patience right now.

Okay. Now we’ve got the Ten of Cups in the reverse in the hopes and fears. So I would say this is a fear more than a hope. I don’t think we want to feel a lack of support in our life. But the Ten of Cups, when it’s in reverse, it’s this fear that we’re going to just be left out in the cold. Remember, we’re afraid of losing our people, our money, our things, our health, so many things in our life. And so when the Ten of Cups is in reverse, maybe it’s you’re afraid that you’re going to lose your support system. You’re afraid that the people that have always been there for you are not going to show up for you in the same way if you go down this new path where you’re really owning your journey and owning your stuff and the way that you’re moving forward. And so maybe there are some people that might be left in the past, but I think those are necessary things. But it’s also reasonable to be fearful of losing people that you’re connected to.

But I also like to say this a lot. You have friends for three reasons, for a season, for a reason or for a lifetime. And I think it’s important to remember that sometimes when we’re growing and changing and coming into new chapters or cycles in our life, maybe not cycles, but a new chapter, sometimes that means that we’re growing in a way that makes it so that those friends that we’ve been clinging to for a long time aren’t the best fit for us. Maybe we grow separate, we have different goals, different dreams and are going down different paths. And it’s reasonable to say, “You know what? I was friends with that person at that period of time in my life and then we grew apart and that’s okay.” I think everybody goes through it, it’s just a little easier to move on from it when we’re children, when we become adults, it becomes something that’s really scary because friends are hard to hold onto as an adult. But again, seasons, reasons, lifetime. Just keep that in mind that the lifetime friends are the smallest of those.

Now, we’ve also got the Five of Wands in reverse and when the Five of Wands is in reverse, it’s like we’re lacking fight, we’re missing the fire. Remember, we have that King of Wands in reverse. So it’s like what I don’t want to have happen for you, is that you just allow the same old things to keep happening for you. You allow yourself to not really invest in your journey. You allow yourself to not really move forward and look for opportunities for growth. The Five of Wands is saying, there’s the potential of you just giving up and saying, “You know what? This is too hard. This vision that I have for myself isn’t happening, so I’m just going to do what I’ve always done.” But that’s how we stay in this stagnant cycle.

So my friends, I think what we need to be focused on is fighting and making sure that the things that need to change in our life are changing for our benefit. Don’t settle for stagnancy in your life when there is so much room for vibrancy in your life. You have so much to look forward to and to stay in that stuck chapter is just doing yourself a disservice. So start looking to the future, start looking for those fresh starts and believing in yourself. You’ve got this, I believe in you and I will see you next week.
