Hello, beautiful souls here at Cosmic Update! It’s your intuitive Tarot reader, Galena the Mystic, and I’m back with another Weekend Love Reading, this time for the weekend of May 5. This weekend actually also brings with it a Full Moon Partial Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Scorpio. This can be a heavier or more intense time. Full Moons are already intense, as many of you may know, and what they do is they highlight things and bring them to the surface, especially things that maybe we haven’t been seeing before. So especially because Scorpio rules the shadow realms and the unknown, this can bring really heavy things to the surface for us to process. It can feel quite uncomfortable, but it can also ultimately be very cathartic and very healing. So I want to encourage you all to take extra time, extra space, and give yourself extra grace when it comes to processing anything that comes up for you this weekend. And oftentimes, self-care can be a little bit more difficult during times like this. So if you feel like you’re forcing yourself to do self-care, that’s one thing that can come up, and it’s totally normal and understandable. If you need to take extra time in bed, extra time to cry, extra time to journal to really process what’s coming up for you, maybe do a ritual of release, that is highly recommended at this time. All righty, I have three different groups for you to choose from, starting with group number one, which has this Hematite stone inscribed with the word of Faith. For group number two, we have this Seashell. And for group number three, we have Black Tourmaline. So go ahead and take your time choosing which group is resonating the most with you. Group One – Hematite Hello, hello group number one! You chose this beautiful Hematite stone inscribed with the word of faith on it. So, let’s go ahead and see what we have for you for this weekend when it comes to your love life. Hematite is all about transmuting energies, and it’s very, very protective and grounding. So, it can really help get rid of negative energies and keep you grounded as you confront negative energies. And it can also change that energy from negative into positive, so it can really transform situations. Let’s see, we have Mars with the word “Emotion” here. So, you can be ruled by Mars, which means that you might have Aries or Scorpio placements. Mars is this energy of taking action, and it’s the number 22 as well, which makes me think of mastery of something. So, this weekend, you could just be feeling really confident, really capable of taking action when it comes to your love life. And you could be tapping more into your sensuality as well because Mars rules that. So, if you have Aries or Scorpio placements, take that as extra confirmation. But you certainly don’t have to. You could just be feeling a little bit more fiery, a little bit more passionate. You could be ready to confront things, even conflict. You’d be really ready to confront things. And so with this Hematite stone, I’m also feeling like for some of you, this could be an indicator that when it comes to conflict you have been in, you’re finally turning that energy into something positive for you. For example, it’s making me think of a post-breakup glow-up that you might be having, where it’s like, “Okay, yes, that situation sucked. I hated getting my heart broken. But look at me now! Look at how hot I am. Look at how capable I am.” And you’re just like finally ready to cut ties with that, just like this dagger might suggest you’re ready to cut ties with that situation and kind of show off the new you. So, that’s just for some of you. For others, I just feel like in general, you’re feeling a little spicy, feeling like a little bit more capable of moving forward and just deciding to take your love life into your own hands in some way. So, let’s go ahead and shuffle a couple Tarot cards to get more insight on your love life this weekend. Okay, so we have the Sun. Wow, more fiery energy, and the Nine of Swords. Interesting. Okay, let’s get a couple more. Okay, we have here the Two of Cups and the Page of Cups reversed. So some of you were done waiting on a situation. You could have been waiting for a long time. We also have some cards that fell out to the side, which is informing me. But yes, this is something that maybe you put a lot of effort into because we do have the Eight of Pentacles here and the Hanged Man. So this is… you’re waiting, you’re kind of putting a lot of effort, putting a lot of work into something, and waiting on the results. There’s no more waiting, okay. We have here the Nine of Swords, so I can see that waiting is something that has actually created a lot of anguish for you, a lot of angst, a lot of anxiety, a lot of dread. So this could be some of you, especially at the time of this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse. This is something that can definitely make us feel a lot more anxious, and it can make you feel bedridden because you just feel so overwhelmed with the intensity of all your feelings. So I feel like there have been definitely intense feelings. We have here the Two of Cups and the Page of Cups reversed. So this could be in regards to maybe an offer you are waiting for or a relationship you’ve been waiting for, whether or not that actually comes. I know that that’s probably the main thing that you guys want to know: Is this person coming or is this relationship coming? I feel like what Spirit wants to focus on, though, is the fact that you are super capable of being confident and moving forward and moving this situation forward on your own in some way. So another example I’m getting is, for some of you, you could be in a situation where you’ve been waiting and waiting, waiting for your crush to talk to you, waiting to go out on a date, waiting to level up your relationship in some way. And that’s what’s causing this stuck Nine of Swords energy. But it’s like, this weekend you are finally going to make the first move, or you are going to show off in some way and kind of exhibit – I’m hearing the word “peacocking.” So maybe some of you are just, like, really showing off your looks this weekend or showing off your talents this weekend. But it’s like you get tired of waiting. So you’re just going to put yourself out there. And, in fact, maybe that’s exactly, like, kind of showing – I don’t want to say “playing hard to get” because it’s not like you’re playing games or anything like that – but kind of just showing off your confidence and showing off your beauty, showing off your talent. That kind of thing could be exactly what makes this person actually come forward. But again, you’re not waiting. In fact, I feel like many of you are in this energy where it’s like, “I will actually make the first move.” Then we have these cards of the Hanged Man – like I said, that stuck energy waiting – there’s this perspective shift that happens here as well. And with the Seven of Pentacles, it’s like your hard work finally pays off, because then we have the King of Pentacles. So yeah, it’s like you finally get what you want. And not only that, but you feel really secure on your own, you feel really, like, comfortable with everything that you have, you feel very abundant. And displaying this kind of abundance – King of Pentacles kind of energy – actually makes you very, very attractive. And I’m hearing “fake it till you make it” as well with this Sun card. Fake it till you make it. So maybe you’re like going out to a group setting in which you’re going to see the person who’s on your mind or the person you’ve been trying to attract. Maybe you see them this weekend in a group setting and you kind of like… yeah, you kind of put it on, you kind of express and display how attractive you are in a lot of different ways. And it’s like, “I don’t need you, I don’t need anybody, I got myself.” And it’s really fun. I feel like you’re tapping into your ego because we have the Sun here as well as Mars, which is known to be a very egoic sort of planet. So I think that you’re tapping into your ego and learning how to use it to attract your desires. And that doesn’t mean that you stay in your ego, or that you have a big ego. It just means that you’re learning how to integrate your ego in a way that feels really good and really empowering to you. And you can turn that on and turn it off as you need it, if that makes sense. So, wow. Yeah, a lot of you are, like, overcoming a certain kind of sensitivity. So, whatever sensitivities that this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse brings up, you’re working through that really, really nicely, and it’s really exciting because then you show up with, like, this fiery competence. So of course, shells and things like that could be significant. I’m also getting pearls, so let’s go ahead and see. There’s this energy of attraction – attraction. Let’s go ahead and see what comes up. Oh my goodness, y’all, I swear I didn’t do this on purpose, but we have Venus, With beloved Venus. Venus is Aphrodite’s planet. Okay. Venus is Roman Aphrodite, essentially. And wow, I’m so shook right now. Okay. Um, Venus is the sign of relationships, your relationship to other people, your relationship to money. I’m so shook. But yes, this shows me that this weekend, you are just feeling very attractive. You are beautifying yourself in some way or standing out as beautiful to others. I’m also getting the message flirty, flirty, and also fickle. So, for those of you who are into Astrology, maybe you’re looking into your natal chart this weekend or something like that. But Venus doesn’t always display, like, our most long-standing, long-term relationships. Venus is a huge flirt. Okay, Venus has more of a fickle heart. And the people who we’re first attracted to can kind of come in and out of our lives very quickly. However, I feel like you are very attractive. So you could be just attracting people that are not super sustainable, like relationships that are not super sustainable. Let’s go ahead and get a couple Tarot cards for this weekend. And I actually feel like shuffling for you guys one more time, even though I already shuffled. But yeah, I feel like there’s something here about you guys kind of expressing your own beauty in your own way, going your own way, being very confident and very comfortable when it comes to who you are. And the way that you show up decorating yourself is something I’m hearing as well. So let’s see what we have here. Wow, the Two of Cups, okay, Two of Cups, King of Pentacles reversed. Interesting. Interesting. I feel like you’re attracting a lot of people right now. I think that you’re in a space right now where you’re being encouraged to keep your standards high with this King of Pentacles reversed. There’s sometimes this feeling of not having everything or not recognizing one’s own value. And I feel like there are people with this energy where they’re trying to meet you where you’re at or be on your level in some way. They’re trying to make you offers that kind of match what you’re used to. Some of you could have an ex who’s very attractive that other people know about and they think, oh, like a group number two, I’m gonna say Shelly, maybe one of you is actually named Shelly. But I’m gonna call you guys Shelly for the sake of this example. They’re like, “Oh, Shelly is such a heartbreaker. She or… Shelly is used to dating very attractive people.” And so it makes them a little bit intimidated. And so people might be trying harder to impress you. And you might not see yourself in this way with this King of Pentacles reversed. So you’re being encouraged to kind of put on this, I don’t want to say, up front, it’s not inauthentic. But to kind of, like, ham it up a little bit when it comes to how you present yourself. Understand that you are extremely valuable and extremely worthy. And that when you have everything you already need already, like this King of Pentacles does, you are less likely to accept any offers that are less sustainable or are not quite up to par with where you see yourself going or where you can dream of yourself being when it comes to your love life. So let’s go ahead and get a couple more cards. Okay, we have here the Queen of Swords. Yep, yep, the Queen of Swords. She is very, very discerning. She’s very quick to cut people out, cut people off, and it’s because she values herself and she takes care of herself. And she’s also been through a lot when it comes to um, when it comes to love. It’s not that she’s cold and calculated. I feel like that’s actually a misunderstanding of the Queen of Swords. She has been through a lot, so she knows when she’s confronted with someone who’s not the real deal, okay. And that doesn’t mean she’s perfect. But it means that when there are red flags, she takes that worry off her plate by saying no outright. So some of you could actually be rejecting someone this weekend. On top of the deck, we have the Eight of Wands, and on the bottom of the deck, we have the Ten of Wands reversed. So yes, do not take everything that comes onto your plate right now or that tries to put itself on your plate. The Ten of Wands is an energy of being overwhelmed, an energy of being burdened, carrying a lot. And the Queen of Swords is not having that. Let me tell you, the Queen of Swords, she’s not having that. She’s like, if there’s something that is meant for me, it’ll stay. But at least I can do my part in protecting myself by not taking on anything extra. So with this Eight of Wands, I do feel like there’s a very clear sign that, as you are so attractive, you’re attracting a lot. You’re bringing in a lot of things, almost like moths to a flame, you’re just very, very electric, magnetic right now. So more people are going to try to make their way into your life. And it’s important to cut certain things out, take them off your plate so that you’re not overburdened. And to understand that you are so, so worthy of keeping your standards extremely high. And just because people try to meet you halfway doesn’t mean that they have exactly what you need. They can have a lot, they can have a lot of value. And you can recognize that and still, at the same time, honor the fact that maybe it’s not the value you need to add to your life, right? Because the King of Pentacles is very particular. And so is the Queen of Swords. So, yeah, be particular, be specific, and clarify your hunger. That’s something I’m hearing, which actually has to do with Taurus, the Taurus card in this deck. It talks about clarifying your hunger, making sure that you’re not trying to meet emotional needs with physical pleasure or physical relationships and vice versa. So some of you could be a Taurus because we do have Earth sign energy here, and Venus rules Taurus. But that message didn’t want to come through. So make sure you’re specific about what you’re asking for, make sure you’re specific about what you’re allowing. And if you have a need, don’t allow someone who doesn’t meet that need to try to meet it because you’d be kind of wasting your time and their time as well. And there are a lot more blessings where that came from, a lot more opportunities where that came from. I can tell you that. So group number two, I really love this energy. It can completely block out messages and energies, and it’s also really beautiful. I love the shine on this one. So let’s go ahead and see what messages we have for your love life this weekend. We have South Node with the word “past.” So the South Node in astrology rules our comfort zone. It rules where we come from and how naturally talented we are at certain things. So I will just use myself as an example: my South Node is in the sign of Pisces. So I am very, very comfortable with the spiritual realms, being in romantic relationships, and very comfortable in my faith. I really love to lean into my faith when it comes to navigating situations. And I’m more likely to choose emotions and spiritual ideas to inform my decisions because my South Node is in Pisces, right. So look up where your South Node is. And whatever sign is opposite to your South Node, that’s your North Node. And those are things that you actually are destined to become better at. So the opposite of Pisces, in my case, is in Virgo. So my North Node is in Virgo, which means I need to be more organized, independent, and I need to really value my sovereignty. I need to be very thorough in the way I communicate with others. So that’s all Virgo qualities, right. I feel like, for some of you, you are kind of assessing your comfort zone, understanding what you’re naturally good at, and what you’re naturally drawn to. And the number 33 could also be significant with this stone, Black Tourmaline, in connection to the South Node. And this being literally about the past, I feel like you could be blocking out the past, especially because we are in Mercury retrograde at the time of this being uploaded. So you might be getting messages about the past. And this doesn’t necessarily mean text messages, but an ex from the past or someone you used to be involved with could be reaching out in the 3D. But I feel like this could be about 5D messaging too. So say you’re receiving a lot of signs and synchronicities that remind you of this past person or past situation, I feel like you’re being really advised to block that out with this Black Tourmaline you chose here. So yes, you’re kind of assessing what you’re naturally drawn to. And I have a feeling that a lot of you are going to end up being with someone who’s not your usual type, or not the kind of person you’ve been with before. Let’s go ahead and see. Okay, we had quite a few cards fall out just now, so I’m going to take all of them. We have the Ten of Cups – whoo, yes. Okay, we have here the Queen of Wands – yes. We have the Five of Wands reversed, and we have the Hierophant reversed. Wow. And I just talked about breaking away from your comfort zone. The Hierophant reversed is all about breaking free from tradition. So, for some of you, there could be conflict here with this Five of Wands reversed. And it could be because of your family’s ideals, it could be because of tradition, or it could be because of your culture. But there’s some sort of internal conflict here in which you’re being called to go against the grain or go against your usual choices. And this can feel uncharacteristic of you. And other people – especially if they are in your family, other people or your friends or something like that – they could be having this idea of you where they’re like, “Oh my goodness, why is group number three acting so different? Why are they switching up and kind of being…” they might think that you’re a little bit crazier and hint or something. But actually, with this Queen of Wands, you’re just feeling really confident and feeling really secure when it comes to going your own way. And I really love this – wow, the Queen of Wands is very creative, very attractive, very, very, very magnetic, really able to create whatever she wants. And in your case, if you like what you’re creating, it’s this Ten of Cups – you’re creating this happily ever after. I just feel like it’s unconventional in some way. It’s not something that you had envisioned yourself achieving or creating or wanting in the past. So for some of you, this could be like a decision of “Oh, I actually want to have children,” or “I actually do want to get married,” or maybe even the opposite, realizing “I actually don’t want to get married at all. So maybe some of you will resonate with group number two, the seashell group. But with this Eight of Wands, this shows me that lots of blessings are coming into your life right now, big time, big time, and things are going to start speeding up as well. So it’s important that as things speed up, you are moving from this place of empowerment and keeping your true vision on your mind, your true, true vision, not what you have been taught to, like, not what you expected of yourself at this age or at this time in your life, and end that mental conflict. I feel like if there’s something that has been causing internal conflict for you, with this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio, you’re actually finally able to put that inner conflict to rest and just decide like, “Okay, F- it, I’m gonna go my own way.
