Beware Of Power Struggles | Full Moon in Aries

Hello Full Moon gazers!

On October 20th a bright Full Moon in Aries will grace the sky, and you may be wondering how it will affect you on a personal level.

One thing is for certain – you won’t be bored!

With the Sun in Libra and the Full Moon in Aries, we have two very different signs dominating the skies.

What happens when you mix Libra, a Cardinal Air sign, with Aries, a Cardinal Fire sign?

Well – fireworks!

Tensions Are Rising

During this Full Moon, you are being encouraged to find a balance between your needs and the needs of others.

Naturally, this usually brings some kind of conflict or another.

Most importantly, this Full Moon is about emotional revelations.

Someone needs to get something off their chest. It could be you, it could be your spouse. It could be your best friend or your boss. It could be your favorite Instagrammer on social media.

Stuff has been building up inside us and this Full Moon in Aries is about letting loose – just letting it all out!

Hence the fireworks!

So what are these revelations likely to be about?

Mostly you are looking at a challenge to the ego in some way. This could revolve around your close relationships with others, your leadership abilities, your physical body, or pushing through obstacles that have been standing in your way.

With the Sun squaring Pluto around this time, there can also be some paranoia accompanying your thoughts. This combination casts a glaring spotlight on controlling relationships and highlights where there is pressure to conform in a manner that feels out of your control.

Wild accusations may spring out of nowhere. Lots of nice drama during this Aries Full Moon!

But all this emotion is bursting forth for a reason.

What is it that always follows conflict? Providing those involved have not killed one another, there is only one option left: resolution.

This is where Libra comes in.

Enter the great diplomat. Once the tears, screams and smashed plates have passed, Libra energy starts to sweep up the mess.

Libra wants to make peace, cooperate, and find resolution to misunderstandings. This sign has a great ability to stay neutral and create the most fair solution for all parties involved.

So be prepared to experience the explosion of Aries combined with the diplomacy and problem-solving of Libra. Once you work things out, you can tap into Aries energy again to gain the courage and determination to act on your resolutions.

So whatever has been bubbling under the surface is ready to come to light around this Full Moon.

You have to ask yourself how much you are honoring yourself in your close relationships.

Are you being too “Aries” by focusing too much on yourself?

Or are you being too “Libra” by not focusing on yourself enough?

This Full Moon gives you the chance to get everything out into the open so you can find a resolution once and for all!

During this Full Moon, a tense energy will be created by Mars challenging Pluto. This can bring out fiery tempers and aggression which can lead to powerful conflict.

Be careful on the roads during this period. Full Moon effects can last a week after the actual Full Moon takes place so it is a good idea to be cautious.

In fact, this isn’t a bad time to lay low. It could be best to steer clear of situations where conflict is likely to escalate.

The dynamic between Mars and Pluto ties in with the Aries-Libra axis this Full Moon. With Aries and Libra, it is all about making concessions, being yourself, and learning to compromise.

It is time to ask yourself if you need to stand up for yourself or if you have been behaving like a bit of a bully!

Letting go of the expectation that things will always go your way is the hidden meaning behind this Full Moon. By doing so, you can open yourself to new possibilities in your life.

When you allow other people to have their free will, you will naturally find yours and harmony will be restored.

How to Harness the Power of the Full Moon in Aries

Keep in mind, there are ways to make the Full Moon in Aries work for you.

You might not be able to control whatever comes to light. But you can certainly control how you choose to react.

Just remember that everything rising to the surface is doing so for a reason – it’s to help your relationships and allow other aspects of your life to become happier and more fulfilling.

One of the best ways to harness the power of the Full Moon in Aries is with a Full Moon ritual.

I recommend using crystals that are special to the sign that falls in the Full Moon. In this case, Aries.

And as we have a lot of Libra Sun energy going on too, crystals for Libra also help!

Some of the best crystals to use are:

Aries

Bloodstone

Red Jasper

Rose Quartz

Fire Agate

Red Aventurine

Libra:

Blue Tiger’s Eye

Labradorite

Aquamarine

Clear Quartz

Ametrine

The Aries crystals help boost your strength, courage, and drive.

The Libra crystals help bring you greater balance, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

A Full Moon ritual doesn’t have to be fancy! You can simply hold one crystal from each sign in the palm of your hands and ask for guidance from the Universe to assist you during this Full Moon.

You can speak aloud whatever words feel right, but something along the following could be helpful:

Help bring me greater balance to myself and to my relationship. Enable me to have the courage to move forward with honesty towards myself and others. Help me find resolutions to issues that arise.

There! That’s a Full Moon ritual done. You can accompany it with candles, incense and soothing music if you like.

Stay Open To The Possibilities

One important thing to consider during this Full Moon is to keep an open mind.

Some things may be said that leave you feeling disheartened, offended, or shocked.

This is a sign that the reality we have cultivated for ourselves is being disrupted.

But this is not a bad thing.

In the long-term, these sudden moments happen because something in your life needs attention, and you are being called to look at it so you can make things better.

So however challenging things can get (and this goes for any time of your life) there is always something to learn and grow from.

Two things to bear in mind for this Full Moon in Aries:

1)      It’s a time of emotional revelations.

2)      It’s time to find solutions to these revelations.

Aries and Libra might be opposites but when they work together, great things can be achieved!

I hope this helps guide you through this exciting Full Moon.

Lots of love,

Sarah Stormrider

Hi Sarah, it’s after the event that I can see what’s happened & how accurate your reading is. A friend rang me to say she wants more friendship time from me & this is something I can’t give her because she brings me down with all her problems! She really needs professional help to sort her life out but is in denial & where once I helped her I no longer have the energy to do so now. So I am moving away from her as she can’t accept my boundaries. I never had the strength to do this before. Thank you!
