TRANSCRIPT:

Hello my friends, it is Deco and I’m so excited to be back. Let’s do a reading for this coming week and see what you need to know. First, let’s get a little snapshot and then see what we might need to do just to make sure that we can step up for ourselves. We’re entering March, which means lots of things are coming. We’re in the midst of Pisces season, Aries season is right around the corner. We’ve got lots to look forward to, lots of new beginnings. If we’re looking at the Zodiac calendar, it means we’re really close to the end of that calendar and ready to start fresh again. So, it’s exciting to get started in the middle of March on that kind of Aries energy where we’re starting new things and finding fire and all of that. So, let’s see what we need to know for this week, we’ve still got a little bit of Pisces season left.  Okay, so here’s what I’m seeing. I see a lot of focus on working with other people this week, specifically working on group efforts, but also doing so in a way that is trying to show up more authentically as far as emotions go, right? You’re trying to leave some things in the past so that you can move into this next chapter and make sure that you’re showing up emotionally ready, emotionally prepared for whatever is next.  But, what I’m also seeing here is there’s a little bit of a struggle with this Nine of Pentacles in reverse, of feeling like the good things that are coming your way are things that you deserve. I see that you’re struggling a little bit with, it’s like the self-care side of things. The “I deserve this” side of things, and maybe there’s just a little bit of uncertainty as far as your belief in yourself, which is heavy. That’s a big thing to overcome, to say, “Okay, I’ve done all this work and now I know that these things are owed to me and I deserve these things.” Maybe you’ve had a lot of people say to you for a long time like, “Oh no, you do not deserve these things. Oh no, you do not deserve anything special or whatever.” Maybe you didn’t get the things that were owed to you for a variety of reasons. There’s a lot of different reasons why we might feel that way about ourselves.  So, let’s post some cards and see like how do we confront that side of things. Again, I feel like this is an internal issue that we need to start addressing. Okay, so I really like this. We’ve got the Queen of Cups and the Queen of Swords, and what this is suggesting to me, friends, is like we’ve got to find this delicate balance between our emotions and our intellect or our emotions and our logic, and really we can look at the Cups as emotions, spirituality, but also creativity. And then, the Queen of Swords is more so about your logic and your thought processes and the way you see the world, your internal way of viewing it, you know what I mean? How you perceive, how you interact with things, you know. And so, I think there’s this delicate balance, and I think that deep down you know those parts of yourself, you know the emotional side and you know the logical side, and you know how to find balance in those two areas. But, I think, you know what? It’s not a, “but, I think.” And, I think that you’re able to step into this role. You’re able to return to who you really are when maybe for a while you didn’t feel like you had control over those things. Again, feeling like you didn’t deserve something. But, I think if you can find that balance between the logical side and the emotional side, especially because the logical side knows that you’ve earned this, but maybe there’s an emotional element here that is making this more challenging than it needs to be. And so, what I’m seeing is like you’ve got to return to this sense of knowing what you deserve and knowing what you’ve put out and what you are getting in return for all of the things that you’ve been doing for yourself.  Okay, let me pull, look at the bottom of my deck really quickly. The Knight of Pentacles, the Knight of Pentacles is the Fire of Earth. So, when we think of the Fire of Earth, that’s like action behind the things that we’re doing in our day to day. The Knight of Pentacles is slow and methodical. If you look at the image of the Knight of Pentacles compared to say, the Knight of Swords, the Knight of Swords, you can tell, is flying. Wherever they happen to be going, they’re going super fast on their horse. Where the Knight of Pentacles looks like he’s at rest, it doesn’t even look like he’s moving, and it’s because the Pentacles take a little bit longer. They take their time on figuring things out for themselves.  So, what’s interesting here is we have a little bit of each element when we’re looking at the Court Cards. Queens are our water, and then we’ve got the Cups and the Swords, and then we’ve got the fire and the earth here. And so, it’s like we’ve got to find this delicate balance in our life where we’re working towards those things that we deserve, but understanding at the same time that those things should be reflecting back on yourself and the things that you are receiving in life. So, and, I think that especially with this being on the bottom of our deck, we need to be thinking about like, how do we work well for ourselves? How do we work well for our overall environment and not just for that one space where we’re working so hard? It isn’t necessarily work. It could be maybe you’re working well with your family or you’re working well with people that you’re in school with, or there’s so many different environments that you could be working well with others. But, again, I think that you have to recognize that there has to be balance. You can’t give, give, give, give, give and not take anything for yourself.  So, let’s pull an Oracle and see what else we need to know. Surrender To The Sweetness. I kind of feel like you’ve been a workaholic, right? You’ve been working so hard on whatever it is that has been getting your attention that now it’s time to maybe take that little break. Again, we’ve been struggling to do that, and so I think that this card especially, Surrender To The Sweetness, is suggesting that you need to let go a little bit. You need to say, “You know what? I deserve a week off. I deserve a night off. I deserve a whatever off.” And, give yourself the time to really enjoy life and not feel like life is just drudgery and doing the same things over and over again. So much more than that, right?  Okay, my friends, I think we have a lot to look forward to. I think the challenge here is to say, slow down, find that balance and see how it adjusts things for you. I do think you have a lot to look forward to. Best of luck. See you soon.
