Hello, my friends at Cosmic Updates. It is Deco back again for a Weekly Tarot Reading this time for the week of November 19th through the 25th, which means we’re transitioning out of Scorpio season into Sagittarius season, into a season where I feel like we really woke up in Scorpio season and now Sagittarius is that fire, where we’re going head on into our ideas and our goals and these things that we’re so excited about. So let’s pull some cards and see what we need to be considering as we move into this week, as we move into this new season of Sagittarius and see what we need to know to really show up and be the best versions of us. Let’s find out together.

Alright, okay, so right off the bat, my friends, the challenge here is The Fool, and it’s telling me, because it’s upright, there’s this feeling that you want, you want to take these risks, but the challenge is that maybe you’re overthinking these risks. You’re overthinking the idea of just taking a leap of faith and maybe even more focused on the things that could go wrong.

And I think part of that is at the heart of the matter, is the Eight of Pentacles and the Eight of Pentacles, my friends, is someone that wants to be the master, someone who wants to have all of the resources that they need at their disposal to be able to produce something that they’re truly proud of. And so I think part of the issue here this week, my friends, might be that you see these opportunities, but you’re not sure that you’re going to be good at it, that it’s going to be your vibe and so you’re not sure if it’s worth jumping into. And I think that comes from something that’s happened in the past.

The Ten of Swords is in reverse, and when it’s in reverse, yes, the Ten of Swords is about an ending, right? You can’t get much more done than this guy, right? He’s not coming back any time soon. So it’s about a decisive ending, but when it’s in reverse, sometimes it means that things might’ve been a little bit melodramatic. In a previous ending, something finished up, something was done, some chapter closed, but it was maybe made a little bit more dramatic than it needed to be. So maybe part of this fear, this fear of moving into this new chapter where you want to take a leap of faith is knowing that maybe it didn’t work out very well previously. And so you have this experience from the past that is keeping you from being willing to really step into this new chapter.

But what I’m seeing also is this Eight of Swords, which is in the future, and the Eight of Swords is really a negative mental space. The journey of the Swords in the Tarot is not a super happy one. It’s one that requires rest, and it’s one that requires mourning and grief and being able to process things. But sometimes the journey of the Swords can lead you to some mental unrest. It’s really a mentally challenging journey when we have a lot of swords in our readings. And the Eight of Swords being in the future is suggesting that there’s this risk of being in a really almost depressive space where you’re focused on the negative instead of focusing on all of the opportunities that are right there in front of you. So I think that this is something that we’re having to process, and I think that there are some things again from the past that maybe you’re not willing to let go of.

This unconscious being the Six of Cups in reverse is suggesting to me that there are things that you’re holding onto maybe from your childhood, maybe things that you’re not even thinking about or aware of that you haven’t processed yet that are keeping you from moving into these new opportunities that with a little jump might turn into something better. But what I’m afraid of is that you’re not going to take those risks and you’re going to regret them, right?

I do think that this is kind of a sign for us to start thinking about our healing journey. The Sun is in reverse and you’re conscious, and that’s telling me that there is a healing journey on the way. And, I think you know that this is a longer healing journey, that there are things that you need to address from your past, but I think that you need to come to terms with some things from your far past that maybe are affecting you more than you realize. Maybe relationships with your parents or your siblings, or even childhood friends. Maybe you had some traumatic ending to a relationship or there was a death that you didn’t come to terms with. But I think that addressing those things that are keeping you from being able to take risks now is something that’s going to help you in moving forward.

And what I’m also seeing, my friends, this Seven of Swords, or not Swords, sorry, the Seven of Cups being in reverse in your querent position is telling me that you know where you want to go. That Fool isn’t in the present for nothing, that there are things that you want to be jumping into. There are things that you have your sight set on that you’re maybe just not going toward because there are nerves there, but it’s very clear that this is something that you want for yourself. I do want to say too, that there is, I think one of the issues is that you’re not willing to step up for yourself in that way. You’re, it’s almost like you are keeping yourself from owning this next chapter because you’re being too stubborn based on the things that happened in the past. You’re like, I am not even willing to risk it, so I’m just going to keep doing the same old thing. When really maybe you need to open your mind a little bit and consider that there are journeys and risks that are worth taking. Even if they haven’t worked out in the past, doesn’t mean that you can’t succeed in them moving forward.

And The Emperor being in reverse, that’s a lack of fire. That’s a lack of passion, a lack of leadership, whether that’s from you or from other people, or maybe it’s just not good leadership. Maybe this is more of a totalitarian thing. And again, you can take on that personality for yourself. You can be saying to yourself, I would love to do this, but that little voice in your head is saying, but it’s not a good idea. And that’s the voice that we need to be addressing where you want to be, what you want to be doing. But for some reason, there’s this voice in your head that’s telling you you shouldn’t do it because maybe it’s too risky. Maybe there’s no guarantee that it’s going to work out. But if no one ever took risks, then there would never be anything new. We would always just be living in the world we’re living in. But we know that that’s not the case. We know that things are constantly changing and constantly evolving, and part of that is taking risks and being willing to step out of your comfort zone to try new things.

And again, you know what you want to do. That Seven of Cups in reverse says so, and now you just need to own it. Okay? Now, I do think that the hope here is that you can be real with yourself about what’s going on.

The Seven of Swords when it’s in reverse, the Seven of Swords can be a little bit deceptive and very much focused on your own journey. So when it’s in reverse, it’s like maybe we need to come clean about the things that we’ve been doing for ourselves are maybe not for ourselves. Maybe we’ve been kind of working against ourselves. And it’s about identifying those things and saying, you know what? I can be real with me and be honest about what I’m struggling with and how I’m getting in my own way. Because the person that knows you the best is you. So if you can take a hard look at your own behaviors and identify the things that don’t feel good, maybe you keep having the same things happen, these cycles repeating themselves, and it’s up to you to address them. No one else can fix those things. You can talk to therapists, you can talk to friends, you can talk to whoever, but those people can’t make those changes for you. Having that clarity and having those conversations is not going to change the things that continue to happen in your own life that is up to you to change.

So I think what we need to see here, especially with this Hermit in the outcome position, is that you need to step up for yourself. You need to maybe take a little look deep down and be real with yourself about what needs to change. The Hermit is someone who goes off on their own and takes time for themselves to gain new knowledge, to gain new insight, to learn about themselves and the world around them, and really to seek enlightenment. So what is that for you? What do you need to change about your life and addressing your life, to make sure that you’re investing in these opportunities, and not just investing in them, but jumping at them, being excited about them.

Again, you know what you want to be doing, especially this week. So why are you not doing it? Think about that. What is keeping you from being able to take those leaps of faith to try those new things and to see what happens? Because I think especially if you can take that time to just reflect with yourself, I think you’ll be able to know exactly what you want to do, and I think it’s going to be really fulfilling and give you those passions that you’ve been looking for. So invest in yourself, my friends, and specifically investing in yourself by taking a look a little bit deeper and trying to find the things that are keeping you from really investing in your life. Best of luck this week. I believe in you all, and I think that you have so much right ahead of you that you could take risks to do, and I think you need to do it. Okay, I believe in you. Bye bye.
