YOUR NEW MOON IN TAURUS TAROT CARDS

Hello beautiful, wonderful people at Cosmic Updates. It is such a pleasure to be back with you this week. And this week, I’m talking about the gorgeous New Moon that’s happening on May 19 in the sign of Taurus and how it might be affecting your life.

I’m going to do a group Tarot reading based around this New Moon and any messages that Spirit has for the group and for you personally about this New Moon time. So, the New Moon is happening on May 19 in the sign of Taurus, and all New Moons are a wonderful time to start something new, to launch a fresh new idea, to turn a page on something, to open your heart to someone new, to just start a new chapter in some way.

And this New Moon is particularly fantastic for a new start because it’s in the sign of Taurus, and Taurus is all about having a grounded energy. So, Taurus can take any inspiring idea you might have around this new time and really ground it into reality. This New Moon is going to be very supportive. Taurus is very fertile. It’s very possible. It’s very, I guess, a grounded Taurus is all about abundance, prosperity, about growing any ideas into a multitude of possibilities. Taurus is all about prosperity. And Taurus is also about your body and about sensual pleasure.

So, we all might feel really connected to what brings us pleasure and joy. We might enjoy our food more. Taurus is about slowing down and taking in all the beauty of life, all the simple pleasures. This energy is going to be very beautiful. So, you’re going to be able to access all of those qualities within yourself at this time because the energy will be very fertile and supportive and sensual and slow and relaxed. Taurus never rushes anything. It’s the bull. You think about, you know, cows or bulls just grazing… It’s, like, very slow and steady, so the energy is going to be like that.

So, it’s going to be, I think, a real relief this New Moon after so many weeks. I think it’s been six weeks of very intense astrological aspects, you know, that have really left some of us feeling quite frazzled. A lot’s been going on. There have been some very deep transformational aspects going on.

So, some of you might have been through quite a lot of change or disruption or upheaval, or just feelings of, like, “Oh my gosh, what is going on? And how is this all gonna make sense?” You know, so I think honestly, I hope so. But I do think this Taurus New Moon will close that chapter out and be a catalyst for opening up a new astrological phase that feels just gentler and lighter, slower, warmer, brighter, and just filled with more possibilities.

I think for some of us, we’re going to start to come into seeing all the possibilities that kind of came out of some of the chaos for the last couple of weeks. This New Moon is also tied to the April 28 eclipse that happened. So think back to April 20. If you had something happen, or maybe it was perhaps an idea or a person that kind of came into your life around that time. This New Moon might wrap things up or open a door that really leads to something. It’ll really trigger that eclipse. So think back to April 20 and how you might see some of that come back into your life at this time.

Make a wish on this New Moon, setting a new intention. Because like I said, any dream that’s been in your mind, this New Moon has the power to really ground it into a practical reality and give you some inspired practical action steps to take or have something manifest for you in a way that’s actually real. So it’s a really beautiful New Moon.

So with that being said, I’m going to do a group Tarot reading based around the energy of this beautiful New Moon in Taurus on May 19. Spirit, what would you have us know about this New Moon time, May 19, for our highest good? What messages were to give? Okay, this is what we’re focused on, to embrace outcome, okay.

Okay, so right now, some of us might be looking into the past. This is the Six of Cups in reverse, Six of Cups in reverse. So some of us might be yearning for something in the past, feeling like, “Oh my gosh, where is that person?” or just feeling a bit… a bit like there’s just sort of this empty feeling, like going, “Oh, I’m really missing those people or that person,” and really feeling nostalgic. That’s the word I’m looking for – just feeling a bit sentimental, a bit nostalgic around this New Moon time.

And for some of us, it could be about connecting to that. If there’s somebody that comes up in our mind, you know, maybe we really want to connect with that person. Or for some of us, it could be that someone from the past has recently come in, and we’re sort of dealing with that situation. And it’s, you know, it could be a little bit exciting or causing us some stress in some ways. You know, we’re not really sure how to move forward. But there’s this sense that something from the past has come back right now, or that we’re wanting that thing from the past to come back right now.

And we’re focused upon this disappointment we’ve been through and this feeling of the current situation. For many of you, you’re feeling a sense of loss, disappointment, sadness, lack – just this feeling that things just really didn’t work out as you wanted them to go. And you’re only able to see these cups that have fallen. And this card is so beautiful because you can see the person is looking… the only thing they can see is the cups that have fallen over, which symbolizes desires and dreams that were not met, things that didn’t work out the way we wanted them to.

And it’s emotionally really heartbreaking. It just feels like such a loss, such a… it’s such a shame. And it’s really hard to get over that. But right behind this person, there are two cups that are upright. And so the meaning of this card is that all that you can’t see right now, waiting in the wings, just around the corner, is a fresh new start, a new possibility – cups that are upright and not spilled. So they have fresh potential, fresh possibility. And there is hope. Hope is alive. This is such a beautiful card, this Five of Cups. There’s every reason to hope. It’s your perspective because you’re only able to see what’s happening right now, what’s recently happened, this disappointment.

Your perspective, you’re not able to see what is actually possible for you, what is just in the wings energetically speaking of your life, okay, that’s ready to come in next, okay. With this New Moon, it’s a fresh new start, it’s a fresh new chapter because you’re interested in these two cups, as these are emotions and feelings.

So maybe thinking of something in the past that quite didn’t work out for some of you. And it’s hard to see how something new can come in. And this is what to let go of. So this is kind of about, you know, having patience.

So this is the Seven of Pentacles, the Seven of Pentacles. So it’s kind of about all the work we’ve put in, and you’re kind of waiting for the seeds to bloom, so to speak.

See this person, they’ve been, like, tending to all this. You’ve put in a lot of work. And, you know, there’s a certain amount of patience that needs to be had. But it’s okay for some of you to honor that you’ve run out of patience in the place of kind of what to release.

So, I think for some of you, you know, I’m hearing, for some of you, don’t wait around anymore, okay, as hard as that is to hear. Don’t wait around on this person or this thing and just kind of put your energy, move your energy forward and move on to the next thing because in a way, that’s going to get the energy moving again, that’ll get life within you again, okay. So just don’t let that keep going forward right now. Don’t look back.

So, yes, it’s an interesting message looking back. You’re looking back on something for some of you, but don’t… don’t look back. Look forward, okay. That’s what I’m sensing, just look forward. There’s something new that I think this New Moon wants to bring in, okay. Some new situation, person, or thing.

Whoa, and what we have here is awesome, the Queen of Cups. So this is emotional fulfillment, again and other cups. It’s a beautiful card. This is all about emotional fulfillment, feeling really good. This is complete. This is about romance. It’s about feeling romantic, feeling connected, feeling romanced, and really receiving that which makes your heart sing and just feels really comforting, really nourishing.

Again, with this New Moon in Taurus, there’s a sense of being able to connect to what brings us sensual pleasure, happiness, nourishment, warmth, and all these things are possible for you. So really turning your attention away from the stagnant energies of life and, like, just really hearing that.

For many of you, you’ve just felt really, really stuck. Almost like just in shackles, you know, of some sort, and you just felt really, really super stuck the last couple of months, you know. But to just really… as the… you are not stuck, and that everything is changing. There’s so much water in this reading, which is symbolic of river running. It’s symbolic of the ocean tides coming in and tides coming out, symbolic of change, okay, a flow and of change. So everything is changing, okay, really is.

So if you felt, like, really stuck that you’ve just been stuck in the mud for a really long time, just know that the flow is happening. Everything is changing to release and to renew, to let the old go, okay, just to let… let that go.

But you’ve been just feeling like you’ve worked so hard on it – “Why isn’t it happening?” – to just take a break from it. You don’t have to focus on it, you don’t have to work on it. And to try and not focus on what you have in the past that you might have lost. But to let the energy flow, to focus forward, okay, because that’s going to bring in the new.

Okay, wow. And this is the end, the ultimate message of the reading. So this is the Two of Wands. So this is about new possibilities. He’s holding the world in his hands, okay, he’s holding the world in his hands, and he sees a new path that’s moving forward. So this New Moon in Taurus is opening a new path for so many of us in some area, okay, a new path, you’re not yet on it, you don’t even see the details of it. It’s just a feeling. It’s like a door that’s opened, okay. But it’s up to you to step through that door. And you do that by really releasing the past.

Or for others of you, it could be that someone’s coming in from the past. And you’re walking through this new door together. So see how that plays out for you. But… But certainly, it’s just not, not, not, you know, overworking it, not keeping focused on what isn’t growing, okay, but focused on moving forward into what is growing in your life, okay, and to remember that there is something. There is a new possibility, even if it looks in the moment, it even if it looks, you know, a bit dire, there is this new possibility that’s being birthed out of this time that I think is going to make many of you feel really happy, really fulfilled, okay.

So just allowing yourself to really be in touch with your emotional needs, your heart, what makes your heart sing, and to really take your time around this new moon. Really slow down, just get in touch with the things that make you feel really good and really fulfilled. And a new door’s opening, okay, a whole new set of possibilities, and a feeling that you’re aware of, like something could happen around this new moon, some kind of new path that makes you feel freer and lighter.

And I’m just really sensing for so many of you, just less stuck, that you’re not bound anymore by some situation that had you feeling pretty bound. It’s like there’s this feeling of, okay, now there’s freedom here. Now I can walk freely in on this new path because I’m not chained anymore to this person, place, or thing from the past, okay. There’s this, like, release I think that’s happening for many of you. Just very beautiful.
