Hello beautiful souls here at Cosmic Update. It’s your intuitive tarot reader, Galena the Mystic, and I’m back again with another Weekend Love Tarot reading, this time for July 21 through July 23. This weekend is pretty significant because, at the time of this uploading, Venus is turning retrograde. So we are going to be called to kind of rewind and reassess all things that Venus rules, including our relationships, our values, our aesthetic, and the way we want to show up in our personal relationships as well as business. So it’s really important that we are cognizant of this big shift. Two major things are going to happen during this time that you might be seeing a lot of if you follow a lot of Tarot or astrology spaces, and that is breakups and the return of the ex, okay. For some of you, this can be a wonderful thing or not so great of a thing, okay. But I want to say if you’ve been following along with me for a few weeks, our energy is really improving when it comes to our understanding of what’s going on in love, our understanding of our own worth and our own value, and our understanding of what we want out of our relationships, okay. Even though we’re being optimistic and open-minded, okay, this Venus retrograde can sometimes cause us to revert to old patterns, or even take things back, take people back that we maybe should not. So I want to just give you a little bit of a warning. But I also want to say don’t let this energy freak you out, okay. It does not have to throw you off course of the trajectory of what we’ve been healing. One amazing thing that Venus retrograde can do is give us a chance to reassess the energy we want to bring forward and the energy we want to embody. So if you have been showing up in relationships a certain way, and you feel a little bit stuck, you feel like you’re repeating cycles and self-sabotage especially a lot, Venus retrograde can be a chance for us to actually reassess and think, “Oh, actually, I can show up in this way instead, for the betterment of myself and the betterment of those I love.” And so, one big way that I foresee this showing up is us deciding if we want to show up in our idea of masculine energy or our idea of feminine energy. You might see some, like, role reversals, and this has nothing to do with gender – I want to make that 100% clear – that embodying feminine or masculine energy, our ideas of what those things are, that is completely personal. And it has to do with our spiritual understanding of the self. So don’t think that if you are a woman, you have to show up in feminine or masculine energy or any of that sort of thing. We all can embody both of those energies. And so, I see a lot of us kind of embracing more of our feminine in the spiritual community. You’ll see this word “feminine.” Let me get our cards shuffled. You’ll see this word “feminine” as a representation of the more abstract, the more sensitive, the more intuitive, and the more flexible as well. I know that for some of us, especially those who have been heartbroken or really struggled in our relationships, this energy is extremely hard to embody. However, one way that we can begin to repair our relationship with our feminine energy is through self-worth and self-care, okay. And as I say that, this is the card that wants to fall out – the High Priestess – and this is a perfect… Oh, I have chills already. This is the perfect example of divine feminine energy because she is that intuitive, comfortable, go-with-the-flow sort of energy. She’s extremely wise, extremely perceptive, and she knows how she wants to show up. She’s not available for everybody, okay. The High Priestess exists in this temple, and she can be an incredible source of advice for her community. She can be a great role model for her community. But she exists in this safe space, this sanctuary she’s created for herself. Venus retrograde is an amazing time to create a sanctuary for yourself. And another thing about her is that she is in between this black pillar and this white pillar that represents this liminal space that she’s in. She’s comfortable with the gray area, comfortable with the unknown, okay. That’s a very divine feminine quality, whereas a masculine quality in spiritual spaces, the way we define it, is something that wants to take action and change something and manipulate something. So if you’ve been in this energy of “I need to change my relationships” or “I need to change the people I interact with,” you know, make those changes but don’t try to change them. You can do you. You can change the way you relate to other energies or how accessible you are. But I’m really speaking of trying to change people and trying to manipulate the way other people show up for you, trying to secure a certain outcome… like, those are very masculine energies, and it’s not always the most conducive or the most healthy for a sustainable relationship. Does that make sense? I hope that I’m making sense. Please comment down below and let me know if you’re picking up what I’m putting down. We really want to be comfortable with the way things are, we really want to feel things with our heart, okay. And I actually have a really special vision of the High Priestess that I received, in which I asked her, “How do you know so much?” right, because the High Priestess, she’s psychic, so some of you might have really strong intuitive abilities and psychic abilities and gifts. I asked her in a meditation once, “How is it that you know so much?” And she took a star from her third eye and actually put it in my chest, in my heart space. And to me, this really signified her saying without words, “I don’t know everything. I feel into each moment.” So embrace your feelings, allow them to inform you, but don’t allow them to rule you, okay. Just really be in the present with this and understand that all things come and go, all things are temporary, and all things are meaningful as well. And we’ll derive the meaning as we reflect and self-assess, okay. So that’s the energy you’re being called to embody during this Venus retrograde. Don’t try to cling to anything. Don’t read too deeply into things. Just trust your inner knowing, okay. We have two cards and one card that fell on the ground. So Knight of Swords here, we have the Knight of Wands reversed, and we have the Seven of Swords, okay, interesting… Actually want to get one clarifier for the Seven of Swords, but I feel I know the message. Let’s get one clarifier for the Seven of Swords, please, Spirit… Okay, the Ten of Wands. Yeah, so some of you, I feel like you’re trying really hard to secure a certain outcome, and it could be mostly mental. Um, you’re being called to take less action at this time. When it comes to the Knight of Wands, there’s a time and a place for passion, there’s a time and a place for inspired action. Here we have the Knight of Wands, Seven of Swords, Ten of Wands… This shows me that you’re trying to grab a certain outcome, trying to just cling on to things, trying to make sure that this dream ending… okay, because we have the Ten here, we also have the Ten of Swords on top of the deck here. You’re trying to secure a certain ending or a certain outcome for yourself, but understand that rushing can really sabotage the exact ending that you’re trying to manifest, okay. You have to get into this energy of attracting instead of chasing, okay, in your connections, and you have to be at peace with the wisdom you receive. It seems like you are coming to a certain conclusion about what you need in your life right now, intuitively, and you know this, but you’re not trusting it because you’re rushing. You’re trying to rush a certain connection, or you’re trying to manipulate a certain situation. And when you do that, when you manipulate a certain situation to be what you want, in your head, what you want in your mind, you’re actually deceiving yourself, you’re deceiving the other person, and you’re not accepting them for who they truly are as well, okay. You’re not accepting things as they are is something that’s coming up here. You’re also just carrying burdens here that you’re meant to really let go of and release… just worrying yourself a little bit too much, carrying the burden of stress, anxieties about what this should be, what it could be, you’re being asked to let that go. And also, whoa, we have the Hierophant. This did want to come out reversed. And we have the Queen of Cups as the top of the deck energy, which is going to be really significant for us. The Chariot on the bottom, so I’ll get to those two in just a second. But with this Hierophant in reverse… It’s interesting because I very much see the High Priestess and the Hierophant as counterparts. Sometimes people pair the High Priestess with the Magician, which is a good pairing too, I believe, but the Hierophant is this masculine authority, that structured energy, it’s represented by Taurus, okay, so Taurus or Pisces, also Cancer, and Scorpio in there, too, can be really significant at this time. But what we have here is this need to sort of let go of rigidity, let go of control, let go of authority. And I’m also hearing… allow yourself to be led not just by the people you trust in your life, the people you truly trust, but allow yourself to be led by Spirit and to be led by the wisdom of your highest self here, okay. Don’t be too strict or hard on others, don’t be too strict or hard on yourself. Because we have the Queen of Cups, another very powerful representation of the divine feminine. And also, if that language doesn’t resonate with you, divine feminine or divine masculine, I like to refer to it as lunar and solar energy. So I might do that moving forward. But this lunar energy, it’s reflective, right, just like the moon is reflective, and it’s very watery, it goes with the flow, it changes with the tides… I’m also getting cycles like your hormonal cycles can be really significant, really leaning into those and honoring those could be really helpful for you when embodying this Queen of Cups/High Priestess energy, okay. So allow this to be your next task in your love manifestation, whether you’re single, whether you’re in a relationship, allow going with the flow and being a little softer and nurturing yourself and leading with your heart, allow that to be your next sort of project when it comes to yourself. I feel like some of you might see yourself as a project or you might view a lot of chapters of your life as projects, and that can be really exhausting energy. I feel like a lot of you focus on self-improvement or improving others. Okay, Queen of Cups is going to have compassion for where you’re at. So tell yourself that you love yourself, know that I love you, and understand that this is going to lead you to success with the Chariot. We have more water sign energy here. The Chariot wants to dominate things, and it’s not that you have to subdue that part of yourself that wants to dominate, wants to achieve, wants to win, okay. I am all for you winning in life, and your spirit guides and your ancestors are all here for you winning, okay. But your victory doesn’t have to come through force. It doesn’t have to come through rushing. Okay, I want to go ahead and end with just a couple oracle cards here for us. I have the Work Your Light Oracle here. What does the collective need to know at this time as Venus turns retrograde? What is our collective need now at the time of this Venus retrograde? Pleiades, Double Mission, Channeling, and Uplifting Humanity… beautiful. So Pleiadian energy, you might resonate with star seeds, you absolutely do not have to. But Pleiades is known for being very saturated with light energy, light workers, okay. A lot of Pleiadians are very joyful and open, very open-hearted, and it’s a very innocent energy as well. Pleiadians are known for being a little bit naive on Earth. And so you’re being asked to kind of… I don’t want to say be naive, but tap more into this loving energy, this childlike energy, this playful energy, which is something we’ve been talking about for a few weeks now. So we have Priestess… How are you being called to step up and lead? And it’s interesting because we have the High Priestess. Some of you are stepping into a leadership position that will be more emotional leadership, leading by example, more so than taking control of things. Those are two very distinct energies, okay. And you’re going to allow your intuition to lead you during this season. Let’s get one more… Okay, Unbound, releasing soul patterns, contracts, and past lives. Okay, 100%. That’s been a theme here for a minute now. So don’t allow your mind to imprison you. That’s what I want to say. Inner Temple… Devotion, tune into the portal of your heart. That’s exactly what I’ve been saying, y’all. Tune into your heart. Your heart has so many answers. Your heart has so much wisdom that I think you’re sleeping on a little bit, okay.
