This is an exciting week filled with positive energy that could stir things up and get your life moving in profound ways. 

And rather than a deep, dark challenging kind of transformation, the changes and growth being sparked in you this week are happening as a result of the goodness of life. 

The potent, energizing, surge you could be feeling might spark perfect changes for you this week. 

Now of course there is always some trickier energy to work with as well, but you are more than capable of finding your way through it and onward to the good stuff that is coming your way. 

And on the other side, you’ll be feeling more capable than ever. Let’s take a look at how you can navigate this powerful week with the most ease.

Card #1: The Sun | Energizing Insights

The Sun card represents happiness, success, and confidence. When this powerful Major Arcana card arrives in a reading you can bet positive energy will be flowing into your life.  

The Sun card is just like the central Sun of our solar system: everything on planet earth is lit up, nourished, and enlivened by it. 

So if there are things in your life you’d like to grow bigger and more prominent, this is the perfect time to give them attention. The growth you are desiring could be in a relationship, a career or project, or any other area you are wanting to see flourish. 

Whatever it is, a positive and energizing influence is coming your way, so put it to good use. 

Alternatively, The Sun card can be a sign of sensuousness and playfulness. So if what you are really needing is a few days off to play in the actual sun, or a full day at the spa, go for it. 

This joyful embodied energy can also result in a playful “romp in the hay.” So if you’ve been waiting for a fiery and nourishing connection, this could be the moment you’ve been holding out for. 

The Sun card also symbolizes consciousness, so you could be far more aware of both yourself and the influences in your life right now. 

You might have been experiencing a fog in your life recently. Luckily it’s about to be lifted. 

Following the often confusing and murky Moon card in the Major Arcana, The Sun card is like turning the lights on after a long night in the darkness. 

You might see things for what they truly are. 

This is a gift, and you’ll likely feel energized and excited. Just remember to also pay attention to what is being revealed at this time. 

The joy of feeling free and lighthearted can pull your attention away from the realizations that might be pouring in as well. So take note of what you are learning during this auspicious time. 

It can be easy to forget new realizations once you are no longer feeling as clear as when you realized them. So pay attention, and remember your insights, because your next card is a sign that just like any great height, there is a likely valley to follow.

Card #2: Three Of Swords | Clearing Some Space

The Three of Swords symbolizes grief, sorrow, and could be a sign that some old trauma wants to rise to the surface this week. 

Of all the cards to arrive after The Sun card, the Three of Swords seems like a real bummer. It’s generally associated with heartbreak and tears of remorse. The image itself seems pretty bleak with three bloodied swords piercing a heart in the rain. 

The truth is, the Three of Swords is the perfect card to follow the kind of illumination The Sun card tends to indicate. As more awareness and light become available and rush into different areas of your life and psyche, the old stuff gets illuminated as well. 

If you have some old sadness, trauma, or loss that you’ve managed to navigate around or avoid in some way, then when consciousness pours in and asks you to grow, that old stuff is going to be brought to the surface. 

So don’t be terribly surprised if you feel both energized, joyful, and peaceful, while at the same time sad, uncertain, and a little bit hurt. 

This is totally natural. So go with the flow, and give yourself both time for play, and time for processing. 

You could experience some old sadness around a past relationship, or hurt from a betrayal or loss. You could also find yourself crying for no reason whatsoever. 

No matter how it shows up, give yourself time and space to respect these feelings. 

You might also find yourself tapping into a collective kind of heartbreak. Sometimes when more consciousness comes in, as indicated by The Sun card, your awareness of the suffering in the world increases as well. 

Rather than flooding yourself with too much news or challenging imagery, be sure to give yourself what you need in order to process any bigger emotions that might come up. 

Depending on what you need right now, this could look like taking time alone, or it might look like spending time with supportive people. 

You might need some exercise to help process what you are feeling, or alternatively you might need ice cream and a day in bed. Be gentle, be kind, and you’ll make your way through. 

Listen to what your body and heart needs most right now, and be sure to reach out for help if you need it. 

Both the illumination of The Sun card, and the rainy day energy of the Three of Swords, are totally part of becoming more of who you truly are. So give yourself some big acceptance along the way. 

Your next card is a sign you’ll be coming out the other side of this potent week with more commitment and clarity.

Card #3: Eight Of Pentacles | Totally Committed

The Eight of Pentacles is a sign of dedication, accomplishment, and may be an indication you are headed towards mastery with something in your life. 

As you can see in the card image, a man is working hard on the pentacles before him. Some of them are hanging above the man, letting us know he has finished five of the eight pentacles. The other three are still being worked on. 

This is a sign there is something in your life you are either wanting to become good at, or are in the process of mastering. Either way, there is room for improvement and you’ll likely feel motivated.

The Eight of Pentacles may also be a sign that when you finish an important project, it’s likely to pay off handsomely. So “staying the course” is in your best interest. 

In the card image, you might notice that the man is far away from the city, representing his utter dedication and attention towards what he is trying to finish. 

So if there is something you are truly wanting, you might need to reduce as many distractions as possible and give it your full presence and focus. 

The learning and dedication represented here could be to any number of things. From an actual project you are working on to self-work and inner growth, and anything in between. 

What’s important to understand is you are well on your way, so keep up the good work, ask good questions of both yourself and those who are experts, and you’ll continue to see great progress.

If we consider your first two cards, it seems clear there are important realizations arriving for you this week. You could become very aware of where you want to put your attention, and what wants to grow in your life. 

Of course, this also means letting go of old baggage. So if the tears start flowing, let them flow. You are clearing a path for more of your true self. 

That being said, the Eight of Pentacles is all about the willingness to put in the time and effort, because at this point it should be getting clear that the rewards for your work now will be well worth it. 

You’re On Your Way

Big flashes of joy and insight, as The Sun card indicates, are a sign you are headed in the right direction. Be sure to notice what you’ve learned in this past period of your life, and what the Universe might be trying to tell you while you are feeling joyful and energized. 

It’s also totally natural to feel sorrow, and to dip into sadness, as the Three of Swords could be signaling. With big illumination comes the awareness of anything you may have tried to avoid or ignore. 

You don’t have to dwell on any of this old stuff. In fact, in this instance, it’s best to feel what needs to be felt, and move on. Because your sense of clarity around what you want to be doing, and how you want to do it, will be very available to you this week. 

Your final card is indicating this kind of clarity exactly. The Eight of Pentacles is all about commitment and a willingness to learn. It’s also a clear sign that what you are working on, will likely pay off greatly. 

This is a very potent week ahead, so remember to breathe, be authentic, and trust in yourself and the magic around you.
